2012 Racing Season at the Bullring.

The racing season at Wyoming County International Speedway (WCIS) is only a short time away and teams are gearing up for the 2012 campaign at the Adrian Road speed plant. Any interested drivers and crews are invited to the Tuff Toys Racing Team shop in the village of Perry on Sunday afternoons in January and February to talk chassis set up and theory. The X-Cel Wireless #14 SST Super Stock of Daniel Majchrzak is now in the reassembly stage for the upcoming season at the Bullring. Teams with questions or wanting some simple conversation are invited to come to the shop located at 86 South Main Street in Perry and are encouraged to call WCIS Promoter Jim Majchrzak at 585-245-2123. Topics of conversation may include chassis set up for all WCIS divisions including the Vintage Late Models, rule parameters for the late models and marketing and racecar promotions for the spring motorsports shows

Rusty Wallace Racing Experience at Dunn Tire Raceway Park.

So, you think you have what it takes to be a race car driver? Well, you’ll have two chances to show your stuff this year. This first is on Sunday, May 20 and again on Sunday, July 29 at DTRP when the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience takes place on our own 5/8-mile oval. The NASCAR Sprint Cup champion and ESPN analyst will have his cars available right here for you to race and ride. His school is renting the track from us, so check out their website or call them at 855-22Rusty. He will NOT be here in person, however.

Willie Strusz - Driver of the Double Deuce Super Stock

Willie Strusz is a Driver whose dedication takes him across the U.S. to go racing. Every Week, Will drives from Rochester Hills Michigan, to Rochester NY. You heard me right, more than 650 Miles in a car to come Race at Spencer Speedway. There is a reason though... The kid can drive.

Best Career Memory: WCIS 9/5/2010 - Started 10th. We crashed on lap 4, pitted, and restarted in 17th. In 16 laps we had the lead and went on to win!

Andy Lewis - Driver of the #65 Wilberts Sunoco Modified

We are pleased to announce the addition of Andy Lewis and his #65 Sunoco Modified.  Andy finished seventh in 2011 Spencer Modified points.  This included 8 top ten finishes.  Andy consistently has one of the sharpest appearing racers. He and his brother, Daryl Lewis Jr. take great pride in building their own cars.  The 2012 season will find the #65 a contender for the Spencer Sunoco Championship.  Thank you Andy for supporting this show.

In 2011, Spencer Speedways Sunoco Modified title came down to the last few laps of the last race.  Mike and Kevin fought it out tooth and nail all season.  Congratulations to both of these drivers.  You will be able to congratulate Kevin at the show.

Mike and Jan will be racing at Thompson that weekend.  We wish them the best of luck.

We are pleased to tentatively add Daryl Lewis Jr. and the #10 Spencer Speedway Sunoco Modified to the show.  Daryl finished fourth in Spencer points in the 2011.  The #10 had a feature win and seven top five finishes.  He and his brother Andy consistently build some of the best race cars in the northeast.  Currently, Daryl is rebuilding the #10 and another car for Tony Hanbury.  He hopes to have it completed come show time.  Thank you Daryl for supporting the show.
