First, put the date of Saturday, May 5 on your calendar because that is the first practice day for our oval action. Grandstands admission is free that day for fans wanting to come out and watch, or catch up with old friends.

The following Saturday, May 12 is Opening Day for our season with the John Freundschuh (spelling?) Memorial kicking off our season. We are currently having discussions to see about starting a Six Cylinder Division for the 2012 season.

Track officials will be on hand to discuss six cylinder racing at DTRP and the 2012 race season.

2011 Spencer Speedway Super 6's Champion, Tim Faro will be looking forward to defending his title in 2012.  Tim and his teammate, Brandon Allen have two beautiful racers entered in the show.  Thank you both for supporting this show.

We are pleased to add Ray Hadsell and his #57 vintage racer to the line up.  I saw this car race at Wyoming County International Speedway at the Fall Shootout.  Ray has done a nice job on this car.  Thank you Ray for supporting the show.
