Same at SPENCER SPEEDWAY...... No more NASCAR and schedule cut in half...... I guess it will be a Wegmans Plaza sooner than later.

I'm thinking more of a trailer park moving in.

Hmm...out here in Michigan Kalamazoo just bailed on NASCAR sanctioning.

Starting to wonder if there was a large increase that contributed to it.

I could be mistaken--but I believe there has to be a minimum number of races on the schedule to maintain sanctioning!

This is a damn shame what is happening to all of these historical tracks because of money and politics and promoters and owners who don't give a ***** about racing. The ROC mod tour will be next.I cant see why Lancaster gets 4 races for the ROC and Spencer cant even get one.

Can't get and /or don't want are two different things. Are sure which one it is? The ROC at Chemung will be missed.
I thought the racing there the last few years has been some of the best on the tour.  Those in the know don't or won't address
it on RaceNY. I'm only speculating like everybody else but up to date information on anything asphalt in NY is harder to find than
bikinis in Febuary.  :P

Chemung would have closed years ago if John White had not stepped in with an injection of cash.
Everybody get your check books out and sponsor a night at Spencer and Chemung.

Since you know so much about John White's business, why don't you publish his profit/loss statements for the past few seasons? Common, know it all!

John White is the only reason either track is still open, and haters like you want them to close like SL2. You're sick!

The BEST thing that could happen to Modified racing is to bring the Whelan Modified tour back to Watkins Glen International.

As a regular at Chemung I'm not understanding whats going on with the track. The crowds are always there and support the track from what i can see. I've been noticing that they don't go over board to promote or bring in different types of cars into the place and now no racing until June at the place, no early Roc race, No Early NY super stocks race?? the schedule is only 12 weeks of racing, why bother!! and if its true no NASCAR the car counts will suffer, certain teams chase those points and will go elsewhere!! Sure sounds like the beginning of the end again, I sure hope not

I'll be in the stands at a local dirt track....until someone can keep one of the two or both asphalt track up and running I'm gone....And one of the two potentially gorgeous facilities closed a few years ago....I've seen enough. I started going to Thunder Mtn last year. I only made it to 4 shows or so and I had a blast... good racing and good car counts... all it takes to put my butt in the stands...
