Back Gate $ CMP ?
« on: April 25, 2016, 09:45:35 AM »
The Pit fee Saturday was $27. Last Friday it was $25. Last Saturday was $30 for the Grit Sportsman. I thought last year i paid $20 to get in the pits, i might be wrong. I also noticed im getting paid $50 to take the sportsman green. Last year i got paid $75. This is not a negetive post, Just an observation. Any Thoughts?

Back gate is normally 27, been that way for several years. Green flag money has always been $50 for sportsman.

For the last 4+ years I paid 27 every night to get in. and as best as I can recall, 50's been the payout for sportsman, from what I remember hearing from other teams. (I raced Pure Stocks, so I don't have first hand knowledge)

30 for a series show, and 25 for a limited show makes sense.

I paid $50 for the 2-day pass. It worked out great.

The only beotch I have about CMP right now is the fact that the food trailer is gone. And you can't hear anything in the pits. And decisions are made on a whim - for instance, when did anyone know there would be a modified redraw?

I believe the complaint department is Jeremie Corcoran. The pit STEWARD, who is the guy on the microphone, is essentially a vessel from the scorers in the tower. He receives messages and passes the along. And ours happens to be the best in the business, in my opinion.

And, yes, the pit speakers suck. Not having Danny and Marjorie there sucks. The millings spread all over and not packed down suck. The fact that there seems to be a huge lack of communication between the promoter, the staff, and the race teams sucks. I have never been one to bash Jeremie, but I am telling you, if the BS Saturday with not telling anyone there was a modified redraw until they were calling the mod consi to the line comes back to bite my driver, he will hear from me.
