Kurt Busch suspended indefinatly

Talk about being innocent before you are proven guilty.

Driscoll did not file charges until November, and the Delaware attorney general has not decided if Busch will be charged.

At least Gene will have more time to focus on his tax returns. The ObamaCare stuff is tricky.

John:  The phrase "innocent before proven guilty" went out with the advent of computer forums, emails, Facebook, Twitter and God knows what else. As technology continues it's forward march, those who are in lockstep would rather trade their freedom(s) in the name of worshiping at the internet altar!

Innocent until proven guilty is a quaint phrase which the vast majority of people would love to see expunged from the vernacular. Unless, of course, they are the accused. But to blame this all too human trait on the internet is not accurate, have you ever heard the term "lynching"? This mentality has existed since America's earliest days. All the internet has done is thrown a healthy dose of gasoline on the fire.

Total B S period. It seems to me, what NASCAR is doing to racing, is in line with what Obama is doing to the rest of our country.

NASCAR suspended him after a Family Court commissioner granted a protective order to Driscoll after he found that Busch:

A) strangled her with his left hand and
B) with his right hand on her chin and face, caused her head to forcefully hit his motorhome wall

The evidence was presented and positions argued in a court of law and a judge made a ruling.  It's not ok to smack and choke a woman.  Busch has a long history of suspensions.  NASCAR did the right thing.  I hope, and trust that his career is over.

Hopefully her career is ruined and done too. I think nascrap is the dumbest form of racing worse n worse every yr. So they ruin peoples life for the publicity. Lol someday nascrap will learn pavement is for getting too the races n DIRTS for racin !

Her career should be over?  She gets choked and her head slammed in the wall and she should have her career ended?  You'll need to explain that one to me. While you're at it ask your mom what she thinks.  Gimme a break.

Why did she wait until November to report this?  Why did she go into his bus uninvited while he was asleep? Where is the evidence?

There's something fishy about all this, I've seen her videos and tweets...all of which gave the impression she was happy to be the victim. In a jilted lover seeking revenge kinda way. It would be most unsettling if that would be true. Hate to say it, but Kurt was the perfect target and this girl seemed to revel being his arm candy.

I agree, NASCAR jumped the gun on this. Barring new evidence, and Unless he is terrorizing her in the infield race after race, he's the one who might need the restraining order against her. There's a guy in her video that sez if you cross her, she will rip your nuts off. Pretty compelling testimonial. Call me skeptical but that's my $0.02.
