Wyoming Co. Int'l Speedway 2015... Information Here...

Spoke with Jim at the FOAR Score banquet last weekend and the following information pertains to the upcoming 2015 season:

1.) We are sticking with Saturday evenings again for this year (Gates open at 4:30 pm, racing at 7:00 pm), with no drastic price changes at front/back gates.

2.) The regular divisions are the SST Modifieds, Super Stocks, 6 Cylinders, and 4 Cylinders, and the track tire for the SST Modifieds and Super Stocks will remain the AR EC-31 tire.

3.) There are no rule changes in any of the divisions as of yet, but Jim is still looking for input from members of the racing circuit to address any concerns with the divisions.  Also to this point, the 6 Cylinder rules are going to be consistent with that of the Super 6 division at Spencer Speedway.

4.) The pre-season meeting will be combined with the 2014 banquet, which will be in the February timetable.

5.) The 2015 dates we will be running will be consistent with that of the 2014 schedule, and more information on themes and specials will be finalized in the upcoming weeks.  The following tentative schedule shows the dates we will be open:

Sat. May 9th and Sat. May 16th will be open practice from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

Wed. May 20th - Weekly Wednesday night practices begin 5:00 pm - dusk

Saturday shows begin:

May 23rd - Opening night, all divisions

May 30th - All divisions

June 6th - All divisions

June 13th - All divisions

June 20th - All divisions

June 27th - All divisions

July 4th - Fireworks, all divisions

July 11th - All divisions

July 18th - All divisions

July 25th - All divisions

August 3rd - All divisions

August 10th - All divisions

August 17th - All divisions

August 24th - Labor Day weekend qualifier event, all divisions

August 30th & 31st - Labor Day Weekend Special, all divisions extra distance

October 3rd - Fall Shootout Special, all divisions

As stated previously, more information about specific themes and events will be finalized in the upcoming weeks.

Daryl he has got to go with the rules for the big 10 and the ny series to get more cars on a regular basis this is a no brainer....

Jim has had significant talks with myself and Bob last year, the rules will not change.   Jim wants to keep his street/super stocks as they are rule wise and you have to respect that decision.   I saw him at syracuse and we talked a minute again and he said no significant changes for 2015.   Cars will either conform to rules or race where they meet the rules.   JMO
