RIP Jason Leffler

Jason was in a bad sprint car wreck at Bridgeport Speedway tonight. He went into cardiac arrest while they were waiting for the chopper to get there. No further word at this time as to his condition. Racing was cancelled for the rest of the night. This news is from my son who saw it posted on Twitter.

Latest reports ... which are very vague at this time... have him in critical condition. This news is starting to break at other news sites and/or blogs.

Let's pray and hope for the best. Our sport is great but it is dangerous so we pray for the drivers safety.

Wow. A true tragedy! My prayers go out to his family and friends.

If I remember correctly he was the first to bring Toyota a win in Nationwide.

He will missed............

Makes you sit back and put things in perspective. We bicker about dumb things at times but its these drivers that put it on the line. Prayers for Jason and his family friends and fans.

Thinking about the little dude who lost his hero tonight.  So terribly sad.  My thoughts are with Jason's family as they deal with this tragedy.

 So sad! Prayers and thoughts alike to Jason's family.. Just makes me appreciate the diver I give a thumps up or a good luck before sending him out on the track a bit more!
