9-8-2012 Woodhull Raceway races are cancelled due to rain

The conflict isn"t with Little Valley this weekend but with Mercer the following weekend. We normally take the trip to Mercer every year along with some other woodhull teams because of it being a 2 day show, but now we have to make a choice that we wouldn't have to make if the original rain date was used. We've already paid the entry fee and hotel reservations so ?

How about the BRP guys that got screwed out of their second to last race! It could have been a huge game changer for alot of the top ten  in standings with 2 races to go! Now there is no make up because the championship night race is at Little Valley this Sat night! Lots of people upset with the sudden change of rain date and not just in the BRP class but across the board! Wonder what Ol Teddy was thinking when he decided to cause this massive wave of confusion and frustration???

I agree...It's sucks bad..and those that are racing at other tracks I SAY GO THERE..maybe it's time the racers..fans..and crews take a stand...I say go to Mercer you already paid for it and planed on doing it along with other tracks..The points are done for Woodhull why not try another track..As for the BRP GUYS it blows..Not only is the 80 and 11 very tight for 1st place the rest of the guys in the top 10 are with in one or two points of each other and could really use that race..I think that if the rain date was scheduled and agreed upon by both ted and gary for it to be Friday the 14th then it should have been Friday the 14th..But since Ted changed it to the 22nd it shows that you do what ya want and people just need to deal with it and as for gary it shows that you dont give a crap about these guys also...Sorry BRP guys I KNOW YOUR GETTING SCREWED OVER and IM pretty sure IM NOT THE ONLY ONE..JMO

Sure it would have been great to get the race's in, but I can't believe the track would have been very good.  Here's a novel idea, instead of multiple post about what could of, would of and should of happened; pick up the phone and give Ted a call. 

Supporting your local track, and its owner isn't a bad thing; sometime you get what you give.

CL the bigger issue is the fact that the original rain date was scheduled and changed .. It screwed alot of people big time! Hey had they kept the date and it rained so be it, but there is more issues than just playing with weather on the line over this HUGE HUGE change!

I don't know the reason for the change in dates but I don't believe for a minute Ted did to screw anyone.

think about it for a second. if the make up on the 14th was run then TED would have to pay the purse for that night. then he agian has a big race the 22nd and would have to pay a big purse for that night. so by getting rid of the 14th and combinding it with the 22nd show he only has to pay the one purse. so it saves him money. but yet it screws us the race fans and the racers them selfs.

Or... Ted could say lets cut the BullShat on the Internet boards and cancel the rest of the racing for the year... That would solve all the problems right?   My guess is not many of the racers in the BRP class were looking forward to getting home at 11 or 12 on Friday night, getting up and washing and switching the car over to leave early afternoon to go to little valley on Saturday.  Let alone if they get tore up on Friday and have to fix things.   I'll bet Bruce and Johnny don't really care if they get two races or one race to decide the BRP Championship.... they're going to stand on the gas and let the chips fall where they may.
