(Monroeton, PA) Mark your calendars! Dunn Hill 2 Speedway, back in operation under the promotion of Mark Spencer, Sr., is holding the King of the Hill on Sunday, May 16th. On this day fans can watch 5 different types of cars competing in 6 feature events, all vying for wins and the right to be called ‘King of the Hill’.
Gates open at 10 am, with practice following the noon driver’s meeting for the Sportsman Modifieds, Pro Stocks, Mini Stocks, FWD 4 Cylinders and Factory Stocks. Sunday will also include a 12-lap 4 Cylinder Juniors Series race for kids ages 12-17.
The feature event for the Sportsman Modifieds will be 75-laps and will be a qualifier for the ROC Sportsman Modified 100 to be held on Friday, October 29th at the Five Mile Point Speedway in Kirkwood, NY.
Grandstand Admission is $12 for adults, $6 for children, and free for kids ages 5 and under. Pit passes are $25, and there is a $10 registration fee for all divisions.
Attention: Sportsman Modifieds are permitted to run an aluminum water pump all season at the speedway and you can run your carburetor in the straight position or at an angle.
