I was just wondering how the z1 won the 360 late model race when from my vanage point(right bay finish line) it looked like to me and by everyone around me that Waters beat him to the line?

Good morning............The call on Wonderling over Waters was made by John Powell, the starter. John is a seasoned veteran in his position as starter and at Little Valley also assumes many of the tasks as a race director.  I do not question his judgment.  I was watching from the grandstand and could not tell who had won.  After a very difficult start the race finish was great regardless of which driver won.  Thank you for your interest.

John Powell is human and does make mistakes like all of us. Powell made a mistake
here as Waters crossed the line about two feet ahead of Wonderling.

Didnt see the race as I was in the lineup shoot ... the video and picture is on a bad angle to see who won. This is why tracks need transponders.

You cant tell from the video or still shot yea waters is leading into turn 1 but cant tell by the flag stand.

From watching the Redneck Race Chasers' video, it's too close to tell.  It's from an angle a little ways before the line.  From that angle, it looks like Waters may have been ahead by inches approaching the line, but it can't be determined for certain from that camera angle.

You cant tell from that video either and that has very little camera angle and for that class brp pays the most and has big year end money but why did they wreck after the checkered flag?
