The King of the Hill official website is www.thekingofthehill.8m.com.

Full Payout is posted on there. This is a trial run to see if the speedway should add them full time in 2010.

The race is $500 to win. The least you can leave with is what you paid for your entry fee/pit pass and thats $30.

Mark Spencer is working very hard on the event.

Brock, this doesn't seem like a deal or a good weekend for the "regulars". We have to pay more for pit pass's and the only thing that chanes is the winning purse...JMO /b]

Now I see the reason some tracks shut down!! This track opened up and is trying to give you a place to race they already pay more than most tracks and people are complaining about 5 dollars???? Most tracks already charge 25 for a regular show that doesn't even pay as much as Dunn Hill 2 does regularly. If you can't afford it or don't like it don't go I give the promoter a ton of credit for what he is trying to do .  Sorry JMO  Good luck to all the racers!!

Those rules aren't any different than the normal weekly rules. Your not gonna draw anymore cars than a normal sunday if you don't open the rules a little to allow different cars to come in....

EXACTLY!    They are doing pretty good so far.  Should be a nice little place to run next year when they resurface it.

“King of the Hill Set to Go at Dunn Hill 2 Speedway” by Carol Houssock

(Monroeton, PA)   Mark your calendars!  Dunn Hill 2 Speedway, back in operation since August 23rd, is holding a special 2-day program on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18.  Over the two days fans can watch 7 different types of cars competing in 8 feature events, all vying for wins in the inaugural ‘King of the Hill’.

On tap for the Saturday portion are the Factory Stocks, FWD 4 Cylinders, and both 270 and 600 Micro sprints.  Gates open at noon, with practice following the mandatory drivers’ meeting at 2 PM.

Gates open at 10 AM on Sunday, with practice following the 12 noon driver’s meeting for Crate Sportsman Modifieds, Pro/Street Stocks, and Mini Stocks.  Sunday will also include a 15-lap Junior race for kids ages 12-15 driving 4 Cylinder cars.

General admission for each day is $12 for adults, $6 for children, and free for kids ages 6 and under.  Pit passes are $25 each day, and there is a $10 registration fee for Crate Sportsman cars.

Pre-registration is now open for all divisions, and drivers who take advantage of the opportunity will receive something in return.  “Any driver who pre-registers will be able to draw 2 pills for their heat starting position and keep the best of the 2,” said Promoter Mark Spencer, Sr.  “Drivers who don’t pre-register will draw 1 pill.”  Pre-registration forms are available on a special website set up for this event: www.thekingofthehill.8m.com.  The completed form, plus the $25 pit pass fee, should be mailed to: ABC Auto Parts, c/o Dunn Hill 2 Speedway, 158 Rt. 11, Hunlock Creek, PA  18621.  Rules and other information are also available on that website.  Anyone with questions should call 570-735-8544 or email dunnhill2speedway@verizon.net.

The track’s regular website (www.dunnhill2speedway.com) is also up and running, with results from past races and other information of interest.  It’s Dunn Hill 2 Speedway, where we do it in the dirt every Sunday (and on a special Saturday in October!).

(Guess I left race times out as well, but for both days it's after practice.)
