Charlie thanks for the updates.  The US Open has lost its luster.

I don't know, looking at the car counts and the crowd I'd say the luster is still there. Maybe my view is biased.  Where you at Lancaster for any of the races this weekend?

I think the luster has been back for a couple years now and it's bringing back some fellow Canadian fans. Saw Pete Bicknell's brother Art in the crowd as well as veteran Thunder stock driver Rob Disher and Sprint car-Super mod sponsor John Brush from Corr-Pak. I appreciate everything Mr Packman has done to make the place a racing hub once again and hope a replacement is found that is as good as Tim has been. He kind of caught us Canadians tongue tied with the Pledge of Allegiance. Considering they were running up against Eriez' finale, I thought it was a decent crowd. I was pleased to see Rick Wylie and the Evil One-Ron Williams in the crowd too. Just wished they had ordered a few more 2xl shirts---I guess they sold out early.  I was just talking to Ron Nurmi and I guess the car that young Mr Bove totalled was his old lm. And a suggestion, remember the APC lm series in Ontario finished a week ago and I am sure there were some Canadian cars that might have been interested. Sadly, the lone Canuck that used to run there (Jeff Ruddy #9) passed away earlier this year. He ran at Flamboro where they have CRA type rules for built and crate engines. When the APC crate series came to Flamboro, Jeff would usually head to one of the NY late model shows with his built engine.

Who won the super fan plan money?
No “I’m not interested in owning a track or promoting your series 😀”
