The Ratzso Report
JUAN COULD BE THE LONELIEST NUMBER
By J. Langford Ratzso / Motorsports Writer for The Daily Movement
Like the animals getting on Noah's Ark, the NASCAR stars were out practicing two-by-two for the upcoming races at Daytona this coming weekend.
Here's this motorcar sports reporter's thoughts on the current NASCAR scene...
I think Dale Jr. looks good and could be the favorite to win the Sprint Cup Race on Saturday evening.
I think the feud between Stewart and Vickers is done and they will race clean with each other.
I will be surprised if Danica finishes the race. I really don't see her having any talent for racing full bodied race cars. As always, I could be wrong, but she has yet to prove me otherwise.
Juan Montoya needs some more attitude adjustment. He just might get it in the race this weekend. I was impressed with the message Brad K. sent Montoya this past weekend at Infineon.
Kasey Kahne's quote after the race may be the best of the year so far, “Montoya just drove through me at the top of the hill, that’s just obvious,” Kahne said. “Last year when (the Earnhardt Ganassi Racing) cars were really, really good and Jamie McMurray was the man, Juan still couldn’t win a race. That shows about what he can do here in NASCAR anyways.”
I predict many, many wrecks due to the tandem push style of racing.
I'll critique myself on Monday unless someone gets there before I do....
