Battle at the Bull Ring - Its Race Day!!
« on: October 30, 2010, 07:45:08 AM »
Skies are clear as the sun is coming up. The temps will be rising into the mid 50's with only the slightest chance of rain. Gates open at 12:00pm with racing starting at 2:00pm. For all you Paradise folks out there, we should be done in time for you to make the feature for your last night of dirt racing as well! Come out and have some fun. Up to $600 to win, and at least $125 to take the green in the 20 lap A-Main event!! No registration fee, just the $25 pit pass. Wyoming County International Speedway is just a quick drive off of exit 8 on I-390 about 15 minutes south of Geneseo. See everyone there!!

The jersey jet joey payne won the TQ/600 race followed by Andy J and the #9 car, the first 600 across the line was the #01 of the sandman ray sands. It was an awesome show!! Glad to see Frankie J walk away from his horrible crash on the front stretch. Great show by all the TQ midgets and the 600 micro sprints.

We want to thank everyone who made this event as fun and exciting as it was. To all the drivers who got their first taste of asphalt driving, thank you for coming out and trying something different with us. We also have to thank NPS Engines and Dunk’n Donuts for their continued support of micro sprint and midget racing across the area. Thank you to EmanMotorSports for their extra $100 for the first fully dirt tired car to cross the line which was won by Frank Jarkiewicz. And finally, thank you to the staff at Wyoming County International Speedway for such a warm welcome and professional job you do at your speedway. We had nothing but positive responses from everyone who came out, and once again thank you! Hopefully we can make this an annual event.

Haven't been to a tq show since they ran at NFCS. I was impressed by the racing. Damn it was cold in the stands!

Glad you enjoyed the show Mike. We were asked by a lot of the drivers when we could do this again. We will be looking into doing it again next year for sure. Would like to do it when its a little warmer, but we don't want to interfere with the regular dirt car runners, but everyone had a blast!

Kudos to the RACERS that brought there cars out one more time before putting it away for the winter. It wasn't that cold!! And thank you to team Vinnie for the ride all year, it was both privilege and a thrill for me to run that black and gold this season!

Don't change the date. A little more publicity & word of mouth about today will make this a great season ending show. Headed for Hagerstown in the am. Been to many Octoberfest races there. The 1st few were not very successful & they had a 40k nut to crack. Stick with it & in a few years we will have a huge season ender right here in WNY.

First thing I would like to thank Wyoming for putting on the race & all the sponsors. It was a ball & well run. Only one change in finish Ed Hoegel was the first 600 fully dirt tired car.
