They want to take away my guns to solve sensless deaths by deranged killers but no one wants to ban Budwiser. People are killed by the hundreds every day on our roads yet no mention of a ban on alcohol. The judge that sentences a unfortunate soul to jail  for growing some weed in his back yard so he can relax, goes home and throws back 3-4 Manhattans. Hypocrisy !!

I am so tired of this stupid argument. I am with 0329. Unless you have smoked pot you need to pull your head out of the sand. Our government and a lot of folks endorse the insanity of Alcohol yet it is a social disaster. How many people die or are maimed on the roads each day. Family's RIPPED apart by alcoholism. If we had a race track full of drunk people what would happen? The cops would have to come. What would happen if we had a race track full of stoned people. NOTHING. Everyone is walking around taking some b#ll sh$t drug our government endorses (promoted by the big Drug Company's), Zanax, etc, etc,. I do not endorse anyone on the track under the influence of anything. I am just tired of the hypocrisy, the insanity that weed is so evil and alcohol is RIGHT.

The racing was three wide through the corners and the cars were nose to tail.

My crate motor is going in my hot rod. The oil pan has a gasket leak. I hate oil leaks.

I watched that race and I was glued to the TV. Three wide racing with multiple lead changes. The coverage was superb, in car cam and helmet cam. No one mentioned local racing star Stewart Friesen winning the second stage and running top 5 for the third and final stage. He beat Kyle Bush!!!!! Screw the cup racing I will watch the trucks race from now on.

KT, yes the negativity is out of hand. I think someday we might not be bitching about racing because it will be no more. If you see the trends today the future does not look so good. On the other hand and I will change the subject, it is great to hear from someone like yourself who knows what they are talking about. I really enjoyed your opinions of all the races you go to. Have a great weekend.    Doug

Thanks old man. That is a great idea. KT, did you have a hard time walking away from racing? How long was it till you could got to a modified race and watch from the stands, let alone go in the pits, hell that would be like an alcoholic going on a tour of a Brewery. I have done it twice and it sucks every time. I got the car all washed up to take pictures to sell it, and just driving it around the yard got to me. I put it back in the garage and it is not for sale. Yes, I am crying like like a little B#@ch.

You are all correct. I am crying like a Baby. The problem is I have this terrible addiction to driving a race car. The other problem is I just put two kids in college and next year I will have three. I am trying to keep this going but I keep telling myself to pull the plug.

DIRT license really chaps my *****. My son and I will be splitting the driving duties. He is going to run Novice. It is a pain in the but to drive two classes in a night. The novice gets no pay to take the green.I thought to just have my son drive but it would be expensive, I would be dumb not to race in the sportsman class and get money to take the green. Now I have to buy two DIRT licenses, A full containment sea. And a Hans devise. I think that will cost close two grand that was not in the budget. Another thing that really ***** me off was when the Patriot sprint tour came to CMP the pit fee went up but my pay did not. Why the F**& do I have to pay for the Patriot sprint purse???

Come on! Anyone know the DIRT sanction rules for a Sportsman. CMP is now a DIRT sanction track. Is there a chip rule. Do I have to buy a DIRT license? What about the roof support bars?

Are we going back to the chip rule and not the gear rule?? Also, do I have to install the bars that support the top of the cage. I am all for safety but the Hans devise and full containment seat is going to set me back. I am already questioning if I can afford to race this year.

Ask0329, I know this is off topic but do you have an idea why you had 3 pistons with holes burnt in them. To lean on the carb?? I have ran the same 602 for 3 seasons after a rebuild. I do know that some guys change valve springs every 3 races.

Thanks Sunny! Yes I think that a Dirt series race at a non sanction track that runs AR tires would ***** off the weekly racers, at lest the lower classes that cant afford to go buy two more sets of tires for one race. It is just not good business. I am looking forward to this year. I feel bad for people like my brother who put together a street stock, that was really a pure stock to run with the street stocks. The street stocks are now pro-stocks. Then they say that the street stocks over at Dundee can run at CMP. Sunny, you have seen those so called street stocks. They pull the left front way up in the air coming off the corner. I helped the 32C for a series race at Dundee and when I herd the class that was on the track take the green it sounded like Mods. I walked to the fence and saw that they were street stocks. What are the motor Rules at Dundee for those cars??? The class just is not a starter class any more. It is WAAAYYYY to expensive! I could go on and on how street stocks are in no way shape or form anything close to stocks. The class is a complete mess. Oh yea, what does first place pay???? NOTHING! No one wants to get into that screwed up mess.

Does any one out there that fields a car weekly take a burn when a traveling series shows up and we support classes pay there purse at the pit window with an increase in pit fees? I think it is great for the fans and they made the choice to attend the race and they are OK with the increase in the entrance fee but it does absolutely nothing for me except take more money out of my pocket in the end. I bring 2-3 people with me every week. Things like this add up. Then we get the guy on the pit speaker yelling at us to hurry up and get on line!!! WAAA WWWA WWWAAA GET ON LINE!!! HURRY!! Just to keep the show moving along. It can be a stressful pain in the *****.
