Racing Discussion / Re: New clay for Outlaw Speedway for 2017
« on: November 13, 2016, 08:51:11 AM »
Sunny I remember when they did that, the 305 sprints still cost a ton of money too get in too, the motors and the bolt ons are expensive, if they started a crate sprint class I believe within two years they would have enough cars that you would have too qualify in weekly, the 602 crate has became very popular and durable and in a light car such as a sprint car would still be enough power too have a very fast and competitive class for the lower budget guy too get into, and too have a stepping stone too the regular sprint car, that's why the 602 sportsman modified took off so fast, 90% of the guys that got into the crate mods where in hopes of running a regular modified in the future,, and the crate was a cheap way for drivers and teams too get the ball rolling for them, and it turned out too be a great class with very high numbers and ultra competitive!!!! The 305 motor was supposed too kinda do the same thing as the crate, but turned into being too expensive! I'd love too see a class where the motor package is exactly the same as the sportsman right down too the carberater ,, and I think it's awesome that Tyler is putting so much effort into the speedway,, he will have great success

Racing Discussion / Re: Illegal crate sportsman at woodhull
« on: June 25, 2014, 04:28:35 PM »
I won thirty races at woodhull in three years with a crate engine, first engine was bought from gm in elmira ny 2010, second engine was bought from gm in pa 2011, third was bought from trackside products(got a better deal)2012, never once opened any of them up !!and there was nights i started 18th and one by a half a track, there was one night i was leading and spun out by myself on lap 12 of a 25 lap race and went to the rear and came back to win on the last lap in a 24 car feild !! I guess what i am trying to say is 90%of races are won threwout the week, i always tryed to tak tuesdays off from the harage to spend with my family, but EVERY day other than tursday i was in the garage till at least 11, there was weeks i won, and never touched a car on the track and still took the rearend out and dissasembled for inspection, same goes for every other part or nut and bolt on my car, just because a car is blatnently fast on track does not mean its cheating, my dad and crew guys thought i was nuts half the time for tearing apart my car after winning, but i knew come saterday night i was 100% confident in the machine i was strapping into that on any giving night it would be in contention of going to victory lane !! And i knew i was racing against guys who would rather throw money at it (cheat) than do all the hard work to be competitive, and i was ok with that because i knew if i did everything in my power with the limited resources i had, i was happy no matter where i finished, and i think its easier for people to complain about another competitor than it is to do all the hard work, and that is sad !!! And just a little hint. Keeping up with the track expesually at woodhull is just as important ad all the weekly work, i cant tell u how many times i watched a car win a heat race and think that tonights there night and get let down come showtime !! There was night i won my heat, and litterally changed everything on my car, hell there was nights after the heat my crew would get mad at me and think i was crazy for changing so much because the car was so good in the heat, but you as a driver have to have enough confidense in your car, your ability to keep up with the track, and being able to get up on the wheel and just plain and simply get it done, and pay LESS attention to what other teams are doing even if they are cheating, once you do that, if you are a driver you will find sucess !! We will be taking full advantage tomorrow night, just mainly to get phil yaw used to the feel of a northeast mod, and i do agree , it is a huge bonus that ted does that for the guys that supports his track every week, it really helps the new guys, and all the racers fine toon there machines !! End results is better racing, we just need to work together as racers to get the car counts back up in ALL divisions,,,

Scott you missed a good one, we were out to lunch in practice and in the heat race, but after ummm like 30 changes boy was that bicknell a rocket, that late race caution just killed us, when i got to fourth the top three had a straight a way on us and i had run them down and was ready to strike when the yellow came out, and i went with a conservitive set up so it took about three laps for the car to come in and just came up a tich shy, but we are not gona complain about a second place finish, all in all it was a great night and managed to get rod mullin aka(the flying farmer) to come on boared as another asosiate sponser, there is good news for the rest of the feild tho, we wont be running there weekly because if we did i no for sure it would be rather easy to pull off 12 or more wins with that machine, youre brother has prepared an awsome car, and woodhull raceway is my stomping grounds !!i acually fell back a couple positions in the begining of the race to that also hurt us just a bit, it would of been a fanominal 50 lap set up lol, im excited to get back at itk.!! SCOTT , your not allowed to miss no more races, we need some more life brout to this team, and even with our team being EXTREAMLY, EXTREAMLY, EXTREAMLY, under budgeted, i think we can do extroidernary things with what we have to work with !!!and just think our enginere (tj potrzebowski) wasnt even there, with my sickness of studdying and setting these cars up, they opened up a whole new sexy adjustment called shrader valves, that is just gona take us to a whole new level, with protrax shock tecknology !!!! so i guess what im saying scott is dont miss something great, get your azz to the racetrack !!lol THANK YOU SO MUCH PHIL AND AMY YAW, ok ok ok , time to hide these dang easter eggs, have a good night and thank you tou all our fans at phil yaw racing, and madman motor sports !!!

Tomorrow night at the bullring, the madman returns, in an all new look 😎
