Racing Discussion / Micro 600 help
« on: August 16, 2011, 04:43:48 PM »
Looking for someone that can help me with the 600 micro sprint i just bought. I have no idea about these things. The engine needs to be wired (04 GSX 600) for the tach, ignition, starter, generator and maybe a temp gauge? It has the stock wiring harness. Also need help getting the rest of the car together as far as making sure im not missing anything and getting it somewhat set-up. Would like to get the car done for maybe a couple races at Limerock at the end of the season then set it up for indoor races for the winter. PM me please and Thank You!

So just a thought...Mods are running Hoosiers, Late Models and Street stocks (maybe) running Goodyear. Do they realize that Hoosier rubber and Goodyear rubber doesnt mix well when they get laid down on the track? It makes the track extreamely greasy.

They have 8cyl trucks out here in Ohio too that run against the cars and alot of them are faster than the cars but they also let them run hoosiers

Ya they are VERY professional out here...lol flapped, i think it was supposed to be flipped...the week before that one of the UNOH school owned street stocks flipped down the backstretch going into turn 3, that was a sight to see! he was as high as the top of the fence and the fences here are tall because of the sprint cars running weekly....Hey Joe check your mail, i sent ya something.

Hey Joe glad to hear you liked the show friday. I go to school out here at UNOH and the school owns the track and i race there (i had problems in the heat) but they make sure the fans attention is always on something and theres no down time. The trucks arnt usually there, it was a special show for the 4cyl trucks and the v8's that ran against us stocks. Usually they have sprint cars. And the order of events always changes, one week the mods will go first, the next the sprints, and the next the stocks so the guys racing always have good track surface to work with.
