It certainly matters whos fault it is! If Lancaster failed to pay according to an agreement then fans and racers should not support them going forward. If RoC is is putting out false info trying to cover their butts then they should lose the support.  Wherever the issue is here everyone needs to know the truth!

Chris, thanks for chiming in. As a person that has stood on all sides of the fence, your input carries more weight most.

Racing Discussion / Re: Hillside Buffalo Code of Conduct

Seems to me that both bakes and ChrisZ have things about right. While it is true that a track can do and say what they want such a negative tone obviously will not sit well in todays customer service way of doing business. bakes approach would have been a much better way to have addressed the situation in my opinion.  I went and looked at Spencers policy, and Hillsides is a word for word copy.  Now, I am sure that there are many reasons for the demise of Spencer, but that policy and its wording pretty much speaks to John Whites idea of customer service, and that IS a big reason for the failure there in my opinion. Ooops, good thing I am not affiliated with a team cause I would have got them fined or penalized.

I guess nobody cares that this great race will move to the freight train single file capitol of racing at Oswego, with their inflated prices and no cooler policy.I know it is the Holidays but does anyone care.I hope everyone that stopped supporting Spencer Speedway is proud.I mean no disrespect to Jody who has always done an awesome job with this race but Oswego is not the way to go in my opinion.Merry Christmas.

BOZO.   I cant believe you are blaming the fans. I am pretty sure most fans stopped supporting the owner not the track.   And boy did I have to hold back on my typing so I didnt get thrown off this site!!!!!

Truex may be too nice but he may not be too bright. Is there anyone that didn't know what Logano was going to do?  Truex should have waited till last lap last turn to make his move.

When you see all these rigs roll into a racetrack that are worth a lot of big bucks and they say they can't afford to race on what the tracks are paying out they should look in the mirror and think about what they are doing. 2 racers thatdon't have these rigs are Tim McCriedie who won 50k last week at Eldora and he hauls with a pickup and an enclosed trailer. The other guy is Wade Cole,he hauls with an old Ford ramp truck. They put the money where it belongs in the race car to make it go fast.

AAAAAHHHH........ no disrespect intended, but............ Wade Cole is fast?

We will be open again in the little town called Perry, NY. Some minor tweaks and our 2019 season looks very promising.

Well that statement just about sums up the state of asphalt racing in NY  :'(

Please, everyone, feel free to start your own site.....

The problem is NOT too many track advertising here.

The problem is there is not enough people who care to post here anymore..........including me

End of discussion ;D

Andy, if you want to continue discussing whether pot should be allowed at some level in your system then knock yourself out. I was simply reiterating that we dont know what bloomguist was doing if anything. Really no need for the attitude and the  ::)

Paz is right.   What has been lost in this discussion is that bloomquist did not fail a drug test. He failed to submit to the drug test. Therefor by the rules has been suspended.  Only he knows the reason and I'm sure he knew the consequence so end of discussion.

Did they race like they said they were planning to do?
Geez, this is a pretty mild tongue in cheek jab, or possibly a legit question.   If you cant make a comment like this on here, what can you say?

The two main problems seem to be the PR posts and bashing.  I personally like the PR posts to just be included in the discussion,it seems pretty easy to just read down the headings and click on what your interested in. As far as the bashing goes its a little more difficult. Everyone seems to have a different line on where its constructive criticism and bashing and as an argument continues things just naturally escalate. Unfortunately a lot of people enjoy a little good natured banter and is a main reason to come to a site like this. I can tell you that one reason I don't post often anymore is that the moderator was to thinned skinned and choose to post his own comments and opinions but then didn't like it when people barked back.  I do still check often for info but don't post much anymore.
