Racing Discussion / Re: More like laughable dictatorship at Chemung
« on: July 20, 2014, 11:12:40 AM »
I will Monday morning Quarterback a bit, Seems simple to me, no 45,95,1 cars, allow the 17 & 71 but no Daddy Z in the pits. You might just get a few more quality sport Mods to come out without all of that spinning, spinning, blocking, blocking and trying to run U over from the 45 and 95. All you have to do is watch Daddy z in the pits direct the big top and its not that hard to figure out what to do!!!!!!!!!!!

That's what needs to happen but John White doesn't have the sack Andy Harpell does.  Best thing to ever happen to the RoC Tour was getting rid of them.  I saw this same garbage happen last year at Holland in a Pro Mod race when Jimmy Z needed a caution the 95 spun on purpose.  There was a guy in the stands who called it ahead of time and after it happened all the fans turned and looked at him.  He yelled out Welcome to Chemung.

Who is little Terry and what happened with the old man at the wrecker?

The Zaks did the same thing at Shangrila last year in the RoC Tour race.  The RoC parked both cars including the driver who benefited from the spin.   The RoC also suspended them indefinitely which was well received I heard from RoC teams.  For some reason the RoC let them back in this year.

Its amazing John White is letting this fly.  He is losing what credibility he has left in a hurry.

Paint the line white then clear coat it.

Racers have been cheating with transponders for years.  They have a dummy one 12" behind the axle and the real one is positioned up front some where.  Tracks need to start checking for that more often. Very easy to check.

Sounds like the right call was made last night.  1st place points may not have mattered last night but if it did I would award both drivers first place points and nobody 2nd place points.  The 3rd car to cross the line gets 3rd place points and so on.

Only way Chucky can win is if Hirschman doesn't show or gets wrecked.

Straight up Dawg.

Or magically take 2 tires during the same pit stop and just be able to beat the #51 which appeared to be blowing up a motor or lost a cylinder.

What happened to Ole Blue #3?  Break in Practice?

8 heats   -  3 qualify                        = 24
4 consi's -  only winner transfers     = 4
1 dash    -  only winner transfers      = 1

32 cars started the feature

Who were the 3 provisionals and how were they determined?

If AJ crossed the line 3rd in his heat why didn't he qualify?  was he too light?

Racing Discussion / Re: NASCAR and Goodyear
« on: April 28, 2014, 01:58:04 PM »
That caution came at lap 33 I believe.  Already 3 laps down Johnson came down pit road under green all tires were up and no debris was coming off the tire.  NASCAR throws caution then Chad sends him back out without stopping to replace right front tire.  The tire then comes apart under caution shredding every where.  9 laps later the race is restarted and thus the following restarts and mayhem.

Rusty Wallace complained for years after blowing many tires and teams spending so much on tires that Goodyear could make a harder tire and it would be safer and cheaper for teams.  Plus NASCAR has been all about Safety for the last 13-14 years.  I cant believe that they are going backwards on safety and putting teams on these time bombs.  It has been more than a couple races: California, Bristol, Martinsville, Darlington, and Richmond were obvious but many teams complained that Goodyear said this new tire which has been used at Texas and Martinsville and Richmond was suppose to be more durable and it is not.
