Must have been a full moon. What was the deal with the brawl in the street stock victory lane? Hopefully Phil and his dad are OK.

Except for the fight, it was a pretty good night of racing. The SSTs put on a pretty good show, with Andy J taking the win, John Barber was 2nd, JJJ 3rd, and I think Mr. Dick Kluth got 4th.

With 3 to go, Emerling running 4th, got into Evans (3rd) coming out of 2. Evans spun into the infield. Emerling was sent to the back for the restart. It looked to me like Evans got loose out of 2 and Emerling got into him. Looked like a "racing incident" to me.

Lippa took the SS feature, with Alhart in 2nd.

The deal was that Brian Gordon and his father are low lifes that shouldnt be allowed to race anywhere, and absolutely deserve what they have coming to them. Real tough guys sneak attacking Phil and his father!!!

You really need to question yourself as a human being when you jump two unsuspecting people from behind. What kind of a person throws a 66 year old man to the pavement?? My dad could of been very seriously hurt as many bystanders have told me they heard his head hit from the stands! As for me I have a broken nose in 2 places and a swollen right eye. They are thinking surgery is likely. I will never return to that speedway if those two low life pieces of trash are allowed to even be on the grounds. I have been promised they are suspended for the year. Lets all hope that Wyoming county Speedway stands firm on this decision. I want to thank anyone that tried to assist me last night and congrats Bobby on a great run!!

Isn't this the second time in two year span that racer and  father have jumped by another racer and his father. Says something about the security there.

Do we have to come down there with  tire irons???Geez, I thought those days were gone.
You'd think a former Sheriff would know better.

Best wishes to you and your Dad.

Austin was fast, needs seat time. Spun it out 3 or 4 times. Security is always good at Perry, both attacks were sneak attacks by by cowards.

Phil is no angel starting this stuff at in the stands at spencer .   as far as being suspended   oh well.   Your flat  tire   my a** you took me out again !!!   But no one looks out for me at my so call home track  officals look the other way when it come you people banging  on me. I was done being  screwed  with!!!  for all my non supporters  you know where you can go   no one has had my my back except my  gf and my family etc..    Love how people that dont even show up at the track have there comments Zach(17z)   you a piece of work yourself.  It is what it is. The officals  should have made  better calls  and maybe  used the black flag once in awhile and this kinda stuff would not lead up to this stuff.

Let me start out by saying I was not there.  I am going by what I've read and heard from others.  Now.  I know the Alharts.  Senior is the nicest guy in the world.  He would give the shirt off his back.  He never says bad things about anyone, he works his butt off on that car.  There a low budget team that's there to have fun and enjoy a hobby.  I know Junior as well.  He is a great guy nice, I won't say that he may have dumped some people in the past.  He may have, but I'm sure none of it was on purpose.  He's a clean racer.  As for jumping the 2 of them in victory lane after an event.  No matter what happens on the track it's suppose to stay on the track.  You don't go and push a elderly guy down on to the pavement, and then beat on another guy from behind.  If this is the second incident with them they should be banned for LIFE not a year.  That is intent to injure.  Also they should be arrested and charges pressed for assault and battery.  I hope that the Alhart family is OK.  I hope that they do press charges and make them pay for all medical bills.  That was just poor sportsmanship, uncivil, and just plane out right immature.  I am a hockey official and have scene lots, nothing as bad as this incident, mites-midgets are more mature then this.

Alhart thoughts and prayers are with you guys.  If you need anything call.

Doesn't matter who dumps who, or how many times, you still don't attack anyone the way you guys did. And to do it in front of the grandstand?
You have stated you are underfinanced. How does your actions look to potential sponsors?
I'm sorry, Brian & Al, you lost a lot of respect from me and everyone at WCIS.

I just spoke with my dad and he says that today his headache is better than yesterday. Still very sore on the back of his head. I keep having visions of his his head bouncing off the asphalt and makes me sick. I suppose if anything positive has come from this it would be 1) The Gordon team is not only suspended for this year but they have been banned for life from WCIS!! 2) Something that has been confirmed for me once again is that race people are GREAT and CARING individuals. I want to thank all for your support and kind words not only on this thread but also the amazing amount of phone calls and text messages I have received as well.
I do want to take a moment to publicly thank Bobby Lippa sr, jr and his crew. Since I was already in the back of an ambulance on the way to the hospital and Kevin my only other crew member needed to drive the trailer home there was no one to care of him and make certain he was ok. Bobby Sr. took the time to drive my dad to the hospital and make sure he get checked out and have a scan done on his head. I also was informed they helped load the trailer and when I needed to make a pitstop to change the flat tire a member from his team ran over to assist with this. Now this is true sportsmanship!!!!

Hello to all and congrats to Dick Kluth on his fourth place finish and to Bobby Lippa
on your win.Now I will start by saying that my name is Shane A. Porter former #11
Pure Stock runner here @ WCIS.Just to show that I am definetly not hiding who I am.I have raced with many great racers at several tracks and been quite angry
with some people and situations on given nights.I have not always seen eye to eye with Jim M. either, but thats life and stuff will happen.I feel first of all that WCIS
always tries to do their best for all that come to that track to see some great side
by side racing.I was not there Fri. night to see what happened, but it doesn't matter what happens on that track. It should STAY on that track! We as grown ups
should know this!If I jumped you and your dad for every time you made me mad,
well you get my point. It sounds like you crossed the moral line. You guys alone will
have to live with that. Some one could have died over this.A stupid race.Maybe this
is why people say - when racing is not fun its done! For me I still enjoy it and hope
that one day I will have the $$ to return,so I can race against the good guys again. Thanks for reading!#11

Hats off to WCIS for making a good call on this one.  Some tracks wont throw a guy out when car counts are so low, but WCIS did and that will hopefully make more guys want to race there.

Hey Shane how have things been?  I was there Friday and some things just don't surprise me anymore.
