Kids – this race is for you! Join the Race of Champions Modified Tour on Saturday, August 9th at Chemung Speedrome for Kids Box Car Races!
To make your own Box Car, grab an old cardboard box, paint it up like your favorite racecar, and get ready to race!!
Kids will be broken down into three age groups (5 & Under, 6-8 years old, and 9-12 years old) and will race on the front stretch during intermission wearing their race car replicas and their fastest sneakers!
Prizes will be awarded to the winners including Best NASCAR Replica, Best Modified Replica, and Best Chemung Speedrome Replica!
ROC Modified Drivers will help officiate and will determine the best appearing cars!
So kids – get your artistic skills and imaginations going and parents – remember this is a kids event so let them do the artwork!
Special thanks to Zacharias Motorsports and Austin Kochenash Racing for sponsoring trophies for the winners and to Chuck Hossfeld and Bryan Sherwood for donating additional prizes for the kids!

This thread is going to blow up if one kid puts the other kid into the wall... Or if one kid brings his friends to the competition and one of them spins out near the end.

Picked up the trophies today and they are awesome! Hope to see a lot of kids participating tomorrow!

Who will be doing teck to ensure they have the correct seal bolts on their boxes? Box seals may not be tampered with. Sneaker or are cleats acceptable for footwear? what will the aero package be? Hopefully the pay through out the field is good to draw a good count.
