hope everyone is ok from the storm,, just looking for some info about the World Dirt Championship this weekend at Charlotte. Did the teams get there ? will they cancell this?? How are the roads between NY and Charlotte??? My area (Finger Lakes in NY) didn't get hit too hard, we are lucky...that was a bad storm!!

They aren't cancelling, weather is fine for this weekend. Most teams weren't leaving until Wednesday, although I heard a few were going to leave today simply because they don't know what they will encounter on the way down.

weather is great in charlotte. we have only had some light rain and some wind, nothing major and it is suppose to be clear the rest of the week. matt sheppard is already here, across the hall from me

The trip down was fine. a few places here and there that have some signs down and a few trees but all in all the roads are fine and everything is fine. I bet you I passed 300 utility trucks and all of that or more tree trucks. Even a couple convoys of Giant Cat generators with 10-15 in a line. Prolly 30 insurance company trucks and trailers/motor homes and least 75 Red cross trucks. They were all headed up north. I was still passing them down here in Mooresville. See you all at the races

Justin and the guys are there.
Miller and Pesarek should be leaving soon.
Tim McCreadie should be there also.
Clan Guererri is en route now. (Well, Nick, Gibbz, and a couple of others.)

Glad to see everyone tring to make it down........If you guys are looking for a few things to see, Stop in at 600 racing off of 49 behind the Big track, about 2 miles away from the DIRT track and Ill give you a little tour of the place if you want.....just go to the front desk and ask for Ricky knapp, id be happy to show some people around.
