I think what New Egypt did this week (move their program up to Friday instead of Saturday, make it no points and still gave out a full purse) would work out great here.  Have a Sunday afternoon start, no points and a full payout.

I think this would work great because both fans and drivers are starved for racing!

Is do Sunday as well I need to get car dirty ill race for points or no points.

Ha jason that's what I said yesterday. A rainout during the season is bad, but this is worse. Whole bunch of shiny cars that need some dirt on them

With the radar and second storm rolling in I'm not seeing racing today.  I'm about to turn my yard into a track to get car dirty.  I might even charge admission (beer isn't cheap) lol

I never liked the sunday races the car count and crowd were always low. The weather looks bad tomorrow too.

Lol we have had a ton of rain and it isn't hot out I think the track could hold some moisture tomorrow!

Sundays used to suck because they happen in the middle of the year with people figuring what the heck they will just wait.  In our area, for our classes that we run around here, nobody has really gotten to do or see any racing.  The weather tomorrow is better than it has been the majority of spring anyways.

The races are canceled for tonight (4-16-2011)......
We have been watching the radar very closely and it is obvious that we have more rain heading our way. With the possibility of rain tomorrow (Sunday 4-17-2011) we are not considering it as a make up day.

Note: We will consider a make up day or date for future races.

Very good call!

#1- Racing in April sucks...

#2- Racing on Sundays suck...

At $4.00 a gallon for gas (and my truck gets all of 6 mpg hauling my trailer), I for one am glad that the races were called early...  JMHO
