Looks like Lancaster will run four to five Mod races on their own next year, an they are looking for a GM to run the shows.Hearing a couple names tossed out as possible candidates and both seem like good choices.The word from Gunnville Rd seems to be that 2020 will include NO ROC affiliation....The Brand police have been getting Facebook posts deleted ,not going to happen here...more info to come... and a very merry Christmas to all 😜

Great car count and a bunch of big names.. Andy J, Finocchario,Emerling from NYS .. Austin,Matt,Solomito,Mckennedy,Dowling,Krause,Hinkley,Truex,Zeiner,Civalli,both Myers,Tim and John Brown and Gerstner.. Probably the most competitive field in years.. B.Myers and Mckennedy fastest in qualifying.Should be a good race...
All the big names... heat winners Galko,Dowling,Robbie and Williams...Andy J finished 5th, Hirshmann 3rd... should be a good fast feature... follow on Race Monitor for $5 per year!!!
30 mods showed up at Lee yesterday for Oktoberfest, great racing and twin 50’s... Seems like the competition and car counts are doing well for modified racing in NE. Not so much in NYS..The Tri Track series race at Seekonk should have a good draw with all the stars of north east modified racing,hopefully a few more NYS teams will make the race to add to the competition.
With what seems like the Race of Memorials this year, it would seem fitting to honor Don Toal at The season finale for the modifieds at Erie. I don’t think there is one family who has done more for modified racing in NYS than the Toals.From raising lap money to helping injured drivers, I’m sure Don and Marylyn have probably close to 50 years with the NYS modifieds.I hope the rumor I heard about not mentioning things at Lancaster is just a rumor.Hopefully those involved will take action and do this one for DON..
Perfect weather and lots of big names... great to see Chuck Hossfeld,Andy J and Austin K racing against some of the biggest names in current modified racing for a HUGE $$$$$ purse... 30 cars and a packed crowd, should be a great race..
Obviously a bad fire at Oswego last nite,as Vern Lafave hit a ton in turn one and split his fuel cell open. Thankfully Oswego has the absolute best safety team and they were able to knock the fire down fast.All safety crew members wear fire suits and are prepared with the rite tools and knowledge when fires occur.Is your track or race series prepared? Once again kudos to a job well done.
One again the Torrese Bros take a gamble and get the show in.Dave Shullick is the fifth winner in five features.Lots of VHT up top the last few weeks.Not sure why race ny doesn’t post Oswego’s press releases..
