when did breweton say they were dropping imca?

Exactly. I thought they gave the class a 3 year commitment coming into this season?

Brewerton told us last night after hot laps that they are dropping the class. Apparently the 10-12 crate models and 1-2 305 sprint cars put on far more thrilling races and the car counts are so much higher than our 10-12 imca mods.

Rich Keller is hard at work and has some potentially exciting things for next year. (not invloving Brewerton or Fulton) Thats all I can say for now.

I'm torn whether to travel to skyline almost weekly as much as i can for 2015 or just travel wherever and whenever i want. I'm kind of reluctant to pull the trigger on a crate model or sportsman. Initially I wanted to stay at fulton or brewerton as its close to home but with the way they treated our class, and getting talked to by a track official for 20 minutes cause of a post I put online, its really soured me against supporting either track.

Hate to see them get dropped at brewerton but hope some travel to Yates county soeedway. When they had 12 or more they put on a great show and this is coming from a guy that use to think they were not very good

Two years ago at Yates/Black Rock/Dundee I would not have even watched the IMCA races.
This year they have been some of the best races of the night and are usually a joy to watch.

Fleming at Skyline is really something to watch.  It wasn't like he just blew by everyone.  Yes he was faster but passing at Skyline without contact takes some time and skill.  He frequently didn't make the lead until less than 4 to go.

Hopefully some of Brewertons IMCA mods come to Yates next year, the class has definitely grown, and they had some pretty good races this year. BTW, IMCA drivers, Yates is fast, so if you like speed.....

Odds are Yates wont see many, if any Brewerton guys. Its an hour and a half drive for most of us on a Friday night. I took October 24th off from work just to be able to go out to the series race. Or else theres no way I could make it there on time on a friday night. You'll see most guys end up at skyline or change to other classes.  Amidon and West said they are done with IMCA. Cook has his car for sale. I have a feeling Mike Jones is done with IMCA as he has a sportsman in the garage already. Fleming didnt know what he was going to do but he lives out that way. Rich Keller intends to stay imca. I'm guessing Rob too.

come race with us andy, your whole imca car is midstate legal just need an older body. plus you can ditch the hockey puck tires.  just hitting the local races on fri n sat youll get 8-10 in a year have fun wont tear it up or spend a bunch. look good with an old mustang body on it.

Thanks for the invite but I'm going to go to stay in imca and go to skyline for 2015. At least for 10 races or so. I dont get out much more than that so that'll be fine. Maybe a series race here or there.

Must say I'm a little disappointed I just bought the #15 imca that raced at brewerton earlier this year and was planning on running a limited schedule there next season but looks like now I'll go to skyline which is only about 20 mins further from me.  I've never raced dirt before and I'm looking for any advice you guys can give me, I'm just trying to learn the ropes this year, but hopefully another car will be welcomed
