FLASHBACK: RaceNewYork as it was MANY years ago
« on: May 06, 2020, 09:17:04 PM »
Thought you all might like a trip down memory lane... :)

Seeing as we are all awaiting the 2020 racing season to start, here's a RaceNewYork flashback to the past. We've resurrected ORIGINAL RaceNewYork content from years 2003 to 2008 for your viewing pleasure.

My how times have changed....back then there were sometimes 20 or 30 NEW topics posted daily! We fondly remember many of our wonderful members who made RaceNewYork great as their love of the sport is echoed in each and every one of their posts back then. We were a TRUE racing community!

ENJOY friends...for your pleasure (and COVID-19 PAUSE diversion), we present the "The Way it Was, RaceNY circa 2008":

More than just old posts, this is truly an archive of racing history in our region. I read a thread on Richie Evans that just blew me away with it's detail.

I hope everyone has a chance to browse the content. Mark Southcott, Dan Hall and many drivers, fans, promoters and the premiere of the sport held court on a regular basis here at RaceNewYork.  Amazing to read and see. ENJOY!

Why have the links to Facebook and Speed51.com been removed from RaceNY?

I was doing some testing as we are prepping for the move to the new software and turned it off. I can turn it back on.

Are you talking about the"Buzz" section? Speed51's are usually mixed into the "Social Media column on left. Or are you talking about the right column, that was above the newest Images?

I am talking about the right side where there used to be racing news like the featured speedway of the day etc.
