I've been compiling pictures for my project and I thought I'd share some of them them with you. Please forgive me in that a lot of these were posted in various sites without photo credits, so I'll name the photographer if I can, but....feel free to help w/ the ID's
Anyways...I'll post them as I have time throughout the winter (hard to imagine we're getting to that point).
Here's one to whet your appitite....Hoot Gibson in the #19 (guessing it was shot at Chemung...maybe by Perry Cronkrite Sr?)
Not sure who this is. He got upside down at Chemung in this BUG. Photo by L.O. Duncan.
Perhaps the writing on the front of the roof will give a clue as to who it is. It looks like it reads, "B. J. Special" As far as I'm concerned they're always special....at least to me!!!

Bob Curren w/ the checkers...I was wondering if this one was taken at Oswego as the photographer is listed as Ms. Rita Church
Rita Church was the photographer at Shangri-La in CWEGO(not Oswego) and it was taken there.
The yellow #3ny is Eddie Pennizyk(sp) who was a teammate of Pete Corey, until Pete retired.
I think the #17 is Ed Rafferty and I think the track is Langhorne.
Yes, the 17 is Cazy Eddie Rafferty.
The #2 is Graeme Bolia at Shangri La Speedway.
a couple more from George Nichols collection...
The First one is a head shot of Jerry Poland (no photographer info)
Richie Evans...someone at work thinks this was shot at Oswego (photo by Rita Church)
