1974 Schaefer Qualifier, Weedsport.
Here's my best guess for the ones you can see well. Left to Right.... Gary Iulg, Chuck Ciprich, Buzzie Reutimann, Gordy Isham, just face maybe Gary Balough, Dave Lape, Mike Grbac w/crutches, unknown, The big guy on right is Tommy Hager. This was truely the Golden age of DIRT Modified racing..

You got all the ones I know. I don't remember if Gary Balough was there. I vividly remember this race though, even though I was 8. Do you remember who won?
The person you said is Gordie Isham is actually Ed Rafferty.
Yep, you're right. For some reason I always get those two confused even though they look nothing alike. I was there and I think this was the race where Grbac was driving the Leto Bros #50 Gremlin. He got a flat left front tire early in the race but continued on and began moving up. He got to second and was challenging the leader (Maybe Will Cagle) with just a few laps to go and they began giving Grbac the black flag even though he had ran about 60 laps on the flat tire and hadn't cared until he was possibly going to beat one of the regulars. If it wasn't the race from this photo it was a year one side or the other.
I know both of them real well.Gordie actually worked for my Uncles Chrysler Plymouth dealership in the mid 60s.In 67 my other uncle and him built the Orange #318 with a push button automatic tranny in it.They raced it at 5 Mile Point and Dryden.
Here are a few from my childhood anyone remember

Doebes, do either of them have any of their older cars out behind a shed?
I was a big fan of both of them as a kid at Shangri-La; always liked Gordie's 111 (or was it III?) Corvair and Eddie seemed like a really fun guy as well.

Grbac won this one. I remember them helping him out of the car in victory lane.
Got some great photos to share but cant figure out how to resize them to
fit the RaceNY requirements.

It takes a bit of doing but, I use IMAGE SHACK and EMBED them.
