I don't recall Denis running the Modified, but we (Binner-Peters) did sponsor a Late Model that he owned. Part of the deal was renumbering the car from 11 to 66. Denis owned that car (late 60's Camaro, red in color), not Ewing nor Binner-Peters.
Other drivers for the 66 Vega pictured, were Doug Mattison, Chuck Ciprich, Wally Burnett, Darrell Welty and a couple of runs with Ed Ortiz and Mark Elsie.
That's probably what I'm remembering then. I have a program with him winning in the 66 late model (although I don't remember him driving it). I swore I actually remember him driving the mod (I thought it was his first mod ride). I did a lot of bad things in the 80's and 90's, so my memory is sometimes messed up.
A couple more Denis Taney pics.

First Late Model win, Weedsport 1974 (Russ Mills)
1978 Weedsport, in the 66.
That's the one. If you look at the roof, it says Binner-Peters up there. I was at Weedsport the night of that win.
Sorry, I can't remember who the driver is of the #16 BUG at Chemung Speedrome. Should be fro around 1964 or 65. L.O. Ducan photo.
Here he is with another victory. Who is the Starter? L.O. Ducan photo again.
the starter is actually Eli Bodine,,,,,,,,I believe
The driver of the #16 bug was Cliff Pierce....I think
That is indeed a young looking Cliff Pierce standing beside the #16--

A cool pic I scarffed from the HAMB...a bunch more posted recently of Buzzie (no photog info)
the #9 George Ely ? Dick "Toby" Tobias #17, Lynn Paxton #1. Harry Sittler #37.
Toby Tobias and Harry Sittler are right. The #9 might be tough, because it wasn't his normal number. And the sprint car I wouldn't have known if it wasn't on the program.
