Thanks Argonrcn. The top photo with the cover of the yearbook has Dad in Willie Seamon's Falcon, then Sonny Seamon, then Dick Clark. I found an old Stock Car Racing magazine with a photo just like this, but must have been taken a few laps later as Sonny was gone (I'm guessing he past Dad), Dick Clark was right behind Dad, and Dutch Hoag was behind Dick.

That was "passed", not "past" lol Not awake yet I guess.
LMAO
Hey Allen? The difference between past and passed...
Past is the fart someone else left in the room. Passed is the one you just left. Either way, it's all good.
It's the misused 3 variations of "to" and "there" that drive me nuts.
18.25 best lap. FunFunFun x 100. Fast holy S was it fast. Every wanna be in the stands should do the ride-a-long. Your sitting mere inches off the track at 135+ going into 3 and have to see around the inside wall. WTF. anybody who thinks this driving thing is easy is Nuckin' Futs. Thank you Keith Gilliam, thank you Roy Sova, thank you Oswego Speedway Staff. Gonna do it again.
Back in the mid 70s that would have put you on the front row. Sounds like a great time. I really need to get back up there.
18.25 is a decent Modified time but believe me if I went a second faster (like a current Super) my inexperienced butt wouldn't know the difference. It was F'ing fast is all I know. To think Chris Perley has a sub 16 lap at Oswego is just mind numbing. Definitely worth doing for sure.
An 18 is still 125 mph average. A 16 is like 140 mph. That's insane. I'm assuming the sub 16 is with a wing, but still. I remember when Shampine and the rest were flirting with a sub 18. I always had a dream to drive one when I was younger, but I don't think I'd have what it takes now. I am glad to hear they've had good car counts, and crowds this year.
Here's a pic of Al Scutt's super-speedway Modified at Daytona. Don't know if maybe Chuck Ciprich may have been behind the wheel. I think this is in 1979. Photo by me.
This is 1977. In the interview he briefly mentions running Daytona. I'm not sure if he ran it in 1979.
any one got a picture of charlie hoddick car for the early 90s
You're going to have to narrow it down unless you want all of the #94 rides.... Charlie Hoddick drove a Street Stock, Sportsman and Modified by 1994.
@mark either sportsman or modfied trying figure what driver was for the car my grandfather put me in a@ airport truck auto was bright orange open wheel car not sure what class but this would have been when shop was still on cayuga rd .
Now that you say 1977, I think that may have been 1979 at Daytona. They only ran the Modifieds around the whole track instead of on the road course for two years I think. Here's another pic from the same year so that should date it. Evans on the front row with Waltrip right behind!
Richie's driving a '78 Camaro, I believe, so that is probably '79. There was a discussion on HAMB a while back about the car. I actually think someone posted your picture there. I'll look for the thread tomorrow.
Here's another one I took in 79 at Daytona. Pit stop action with Bodine in the Armstrong #1 Mustang full bodied car. Actually looks like practice action. Pic by me.
Here's #50 spinning on pit road. Does anybody have who was in the #50 in the 79 race. Must have been after Ernie Gahan's time! Pic by me.
