Does anybody have a pic they can post of Dutch Hoag's 1st Camaro? I think it was totalled the 1st time out at Shangri-la, but I never saw a pic of it. Anyone?
SHAMROCK3X I TALKED WITH A GENUINE DUTCH HOAG EXPERT A FEW HRS. AGO. HE DOES REMEMBER AN EARLY CAMARO. STILL 71 OR 72. HE THINKS IT WAS A PRIVATE TEST AT SHANGRI-LA. FLAT OR SOMETHING BROKE, DESTROYED ON 4TH TURN WALL. HE WILL LOOK TO SEE IF HE HAS A PICTURE.
argonrcn - When Allen Clark was looking for pictures of his Dad, he was looking for Al Clark, who drove the #48 and #74 modifieds back in the day. I sure did appreciate the pictures of my Dad though. That's Randy Hedger working on the right front of the coupe. Thanks for all the great stuff you've been posting.

Here's another blurry action shot from Weedsport 1979. I'm sure of a couple. Let the guesses fly.
argonrcn... Thanks so much for sharing the photos with Dad in them. Although Duncan and his family are not related to us, I feel very fortunate to have had the other Clark family involved with our Clark family throughout the years as Dick will always be one of my biggest racing heros. The photo with Dad in Willie's Pinto and Dick in the 'Cuda is a truly a favorite. Thanks again.
the last 3 cars...
Danny Johnson, 0jr.
Darrell Welty, 81
Either Fran Bohne, E-1 or Ron Baker, 74 (same car)
The first car looks like it could be Larry Radney in the 96. The 2nd car could be Harry Sittler in the 37 - but those are just guesses.
Your right on 1 and 3. Darrell was driving the 711 that year I believe. I don't know who the last 2 drivers are. I'm iffy on the second driver.
A little photoshop work on the pic.
I think your right with the last driver being Ron Baker. I thought Terry Kincaid behind Larry Radney.
I brought your photoshop helped picture into photoshop myself to play with the hue, satuaration, contrast, brightness and sharpness levels. The car ahead of Danny Johnson is number 16. Jan Oakes maybe? I don't remember Terry Kincaid in an all white car. Not to say she didn't, just saying I don't remember it is all. That's definitely Ron Baker in the last car - he bought it from Fran Bohne. The car between Baker and Johnson is number 14 and I have no clue who it might be.
Bob, you may know better having done all the photoshop tricks, but that yellow car looks like an 18 to me, which would probably be the "Bad Banana" Rick Hoctor. I remember him having the white wheels for a while, and also making the weekend trips down from the Ransomville area to run Canandaigua and Weedsport. Just a guess.
Yeah, she had a nice new Bushy car for 1979. It was actually off white. I remember Rick Hoctor coming down and running Weedsport fairly often. I just don't remember what his car looked like. Thanks to everyone for the guesses. Like I said, I used to have them all written down in a scrapbook, which is long gone.
I don't remember that car - but I do the two beside her. Tom Hager and Steve Podolack.
And Greg... I brought that picture into my video edit program and played with it some. You could be right on Hoctor.
