Can anyone explain why this track is not being used? All that work with concrete new stands track was fast. Was it just ownership? Was it no drivers showing up? Safety issues?

Racing Discussion / Holland Speedway 2020

Holland International Speedway posted a job.
July 10 at 3:01 PM ·
Update: We continue to work on renovating and repairing our facility. After further evaluation, we have decided to make bigger improvements than what was first anticipated.

Unfortunately, due to the amount of work needed to correct the damage done to the property, and make the various improvements, we have been unable to schedule any traditional racing events for this season.

We are however, focused on bringing back the "Original" Crash A Rama on Sat Sept 7th. More details will be made available soon.

Due to the amount of work that still needs to be done, we are looking for people to help us out in the following areas:

*Maintenance / General Labor- mowing, painting, cleaning etc
*Paintball staff- referees
*Electrician
*Plumbing
*Concrete repair work
*Concession Staff

If anyone is interested, please PM us and we can discuss these needs in more detail. Volunteers are always welcome.

As always, thank you all for your continued support. We are looking towards the future, and plan to bring back tradition to Holland Speedway

Where the Heck us this Dan Hutchinson guy? Its easier to find Waldo than to find the clown who runs hillside.

Canceled practice, never any communications from Dan, now it look like no masters weekend.

registration just opened for this huge payout for Super Stocks and Late Models. Lets get some WNY drivers going to take on Bubba Pollard last years race winner!

12
LATE MODEL WINNER 75k and 3,500 to start.

HOPEFULLY, JUKASA  WILL GET SOME WNY REPRESENTATION FROM THE ROC GUYS. Only took me 100 minutes to get there

Racing Discussion / Is weekly racing dead?
« on: September 05, 2018, 02:07:15 PM »
After experiencing Jukasa's big race I would prefer going to big races rather than weekly races with 10 to 16 cars per class

Is weekly racing dead with the normal purses?

Just a thought

Overall combined point system

4 Tracks: Hillside, Spencer, Lancaster, WCIS

SST, Street Stocks and 4 cylinders

This idea is to bring weekly classes car count up.

Oh yeah would love to see the Super Stock class merge with the Late Models after all some SS look like Late Models just saying
