I say can the touring series.... Make it like the old days when each track scheduled a big event with a big purse and see what happens..... One sanctioning body, one set of rules. Remember when Richie used to send a "decoy" car and hauler out of town so the rest of the boys didn't really know where he'd be??? The guys with cars wanna race and they'll go to where it's at!!! JMO......

  It seems like since all of these touring series have evolved that the racing and the car counts keep declining. Any thoughts on this? Has anyone else ever looked at it like that? I sincerely love the mods and watch them every chance I get. I'd love nothing more that to see it the way it was back in the day!!

 Duane Ellis passed away. What about his son Bud, Where is he? Bob Carlyle used to live in Spencer back when he raced.
