Mother Nature Claims First of 2015 at HollandHOLLAND, NY… With rain expected in the forecast for much of the afternoon and into the night, the management of the Holland NASCAR Motorsports Complex has cancelled the racing action scheduled for Saturday May 30th.
All tickets that were passed out as part of the Military and Family Appreciation Night presented by Veterans One Stop Center of WNY and the Eastern Hills Mall will be valid for next Saturday June 6th.
Fans are reminded that in just two weeks time, “the Wildest Show on Wheels”, Crash-A-Rama will be taking over the historic highbanks. Tickets purchased at participating Carquest and Advance Auto Parts throughout Western New York will allow fans to enter the grandstands one hour earlier! A full night of destruction is planned and is a not-miss event.
Fans are also reminded that the Holland NASCAR Motorsports Complex is participating with Ingersoll Rand’s promotion involving the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Home Tracks. Ingersoll Rand is the official Power Tool of NASCAR and fans have the chance to win prizes from IR weekly by texting IRTOOLSHMC to 313131.
Next Saturday night, Saturday June 6, will see the first extra distance race of the season as the Howdy’s Hornets will be racing a 50 lap main event on Coca-Cola Night. They will be joined by the Getzoni Nationwide Insurance Agency NASCAR Pro Modifieds, Seneca Niagara Casinos NASCAR Late Models, Bank of Holland Chargers, M&M U Pull-It Figure 8’s, Future 4’s and the NYPA TQ Midgets. Pit gates will open at 3:30pm with grandstand gates swinging open at 4:45. Qualifying racing will get started at 5:00pm sharp with NASCAR feature racing beginning at 7:05.
