So with the chance of maybe being able to get to races in August do you think it's best for this season for tracks to run special events only?

The way the regions are broken down, tracks like Chemung (Southern Tier Region) and Wyoming County and Spencer (Finger Lakes Region) likely have a better chance at a July start time (due to being in Phase 4 of the 4 phases). The reason I say this is mostly due to the Phase 1 opening in these regions this Friday, May 15th, whereas Lancaster and Holland (Western New York Region), and Evans Mills (North Country Region) will be at least at a 1 week lag in starting to reopen. Fingers crossed for minimal setbacks.
