I used to herd sheep, but heard they didn't like being herded, so I stopped doing it.

The rumor of a Whelen Modified Tour event at Oswego feels different than most other (unfounded) rumors for some reason.  Although I wouldn't bet the house, I wouldn't be surprised to see their return to the Steel Palace next year.
2021 Next: Bubba Raceway, Volusia Speedway, New Smyrna Speedway.

Somebody on a NE site was wishing for 40 cars. LOL

They can't get that many in their own back yard. My guess....24

I can see Laminate, Pud and HD1 sitting together up in turn 1 swilling some Genesee enjoying this one.  ;D ;D ;D

(wait a minute...i gotta check...I don't think I like Genny)

Now when the WMT schedule comes out, with Oswego on it you will owe me $20 Mike. That is what our bet was. The ROC going to 250 laps was just a extra tidbit I threw in but that was not the bet.

24 drivers ran 11 or more of the 15 races this calendar year.  59 drivers attempted at least one race.

wouldn't be shocked if some of the top ROC drivers show up to try and take home the big money.

"I can see Laminate, Pud and HD1 sitting together up in turn 1 swilling some Genesee enjoying this one".

Hey yo Laminate, you better set the pipe down on the table and back away. I don't think you will see HD1 at this race. I, like a lot of people won't be able to afford it. Torrese's got $40 for a general admission ticket last year for Saturday of classic weekend. I figure after they pay NASCAR $60,000 plus for the NWMT, the ticket should be no less than 60 to 75 dollars for Saturday. Do the math, between ISMA and the NWMT, they will be laying out somewheres around 100 large. Or if you don't know, that translates to $100,000.

And soon after that fateful Saturday night. When all they have is 500 or so fans there because of the inflated ticket price, all the experts here on this site will blame NASCAR for not subsidizing the purse.

No thanks, you and Pud have a wonderful time. I will stick to all the other NWMT races at Jack Arutes' Stafford Motor Speedway, Thompson, Bristol, Waterford, and New Hampshire, where you pay a reasonable amount as the other "thousands" of people in attendance. And no subsidies needed.

Remember now Laminate, don't save me a seat. But, I am sure you won't have to, as there will be many available. I know Oswego and their pricing policies.
