Think about this from a financial standpoint. Superstocks are already forced to be there for 2 days. Big 10 cars and Superstocks are the same cars. You would have to pay a whole class purse without any extra income from back gate. Why is this 2 days for the SS? Most of us would be there anyways but why burden the ones that cant afford it the extra expense? Why not charge everyone the 100 bucks to get in the pits that weekend? The race and the facility atmosphere are second to none but the cost to the racer is bullcr@p.

Doesnt anyone know? How was JL's race? Hope it was a great turnout for him. He really put in a lot for it this year. Sorry we didn't make it.

Is there more money in payoff for support divisions?  If not I dont understand the increase to get in with our cars or the draw for start. I didnt realize the roc couldn't draw its own following to pay for their show.

Get well Stanley. Have no fear I hear Joe is in the works to get you back as soon as your able. There is probably only a few people Joe can trust to bring him back something he can eat or drink. Thank you for being there every week and supporting us all. I hope your recovery is speedy.

SESELY WINS THIRD STRAIGHT INDOOR RACING EVENT AT ATLANTIC CITY’S BOARDWALK HALL, INDOOR RACING CONTINUES IN TRENTON, NJ FEB.7-8

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Jan. 26) – Anthony Sesely’s domination of Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City continued Saturday night when Sesely powered his No.16 600 Micro Sprint to a convincing victory in the climatic NAPA Know How Gamblers Classic 40-lap main event. It was Sesely’s second straight win in the prestigious race and his third straight inside Boardwalk Hall.

“This is unbelievable,” Sesely, of Matawan, N.J., said. “It is what racing is all about.”

Sesely led all 40 of the laps after drawing the pole position, a draw earned as one of the previous night’s top eight feature finishers, a race he also won.

Brett Michalski ran second initially before Matt Janisch moved up. A succession of cautions shuffled the running order. Mike Iles emerged as the runner-up through the halfway mark but back in the pack, Lou Cicconi, Jr., and Mike Lichty, two drivers who had been fast the previous night as well but had unsatisfactory results, were working their ways forward.

As the race progressed, Lichty got by Cicconi for second spot with five laps to go and held off a return challenge to preserve the position. The final sixteen laps of the race ran off non-stop and this allowed hard charging Shawn Nye to finish up fourth. Iles slipped to fifth.

Anthony Colandro of Islip Terrace, Long Island, N.Y. passed Douglas Stearly on the last lap after wild side by side battle saw Stearly spin off turn two. Jonathan Cash of Mechanicsville, Va., moved to second and then held off a trio of New Englanders in DJ Shaw, Mike Perry and Glen Meisenhelder.

In the 25-lap Snyder’s-Lance Slingshot feature, Simon Egan of Stroudsburg, Pa., moved into first place after Ben Whitaker, who led the first fourteen laps after starting from the pole position, suddenly slowed and pulled out of the race with mechanical problems. Egan had started back in 16th position.

Joe Kata, gridded 22nd at the start, moved by Tyler Johnston on the twenty second lap to claim a fast closing second to Egan. Kata settled for third with Tom Arntz fourth and Matt Stangle completed the top five.

The $1,500 win for Egan was his second at Boardwalk Hall and the fourth for the 2001 Slingshot nicknamed ‘Old Faithful’ by its owner Randy Smith.  Randy’s son Ryan also won twice in the No.55 car inside Boardwalk Hall.

The race was the finale of a two night NAPA Know How Atlantic City Indoor Race Weekend.  Friday night’s 30-lap TQ Midget race was won by Anthony Sesely of Matawan, NJ.

Indoor racing continues on February 7-8, 2014 at Sun Bank Center in Trenton, N.J. with the running of the first annual PRC / Angela’s House Battle Of Trenton.  The race concludes the Fatheadz Eyewear TQ Midget Series produced by Len Sammons Motorsports Productions.

Racing Discussion / Re: Are you kidding me...
« on: January 10, 2014, 06:21:01 AM »
The biggest reason I get on here is to view the train wreck. Once in a while you get guys on here that say some very intelligent things that these tracks should "listen" to. When guys like KT, Jan, and Will Thomas say how they feel things could be improved wouldn't you think the tracks should take this into consideration? They also usually don't start these conversations. You need to take into consideration who is making these comments that anger you.
I do like watching NASCAR but I feel it has been lacking talent in exchange for ratings and money. Its not what got it to where it is today.
You need people to say things to at least start a thought process.

I hope they don't go with a short season. My wife only gives me one night a weekend. I'm not picking 6 races over 15-20. Chris should get the job. He's been making decisions on our superstock class for over a year and not getting paid for it. I think all his input has worked out well. Just look at what he's done in a short amount of time.

I never seen anyone go into 3 at Chemung as hard as Tim. They are all great competitors and all have different styles. If I had a track I would want them racing at it. They are also fun to be around. You never get tired of talkin about racing stuff.

What do you think is wrong? How does it get fixed? My suggestion is go to roc rules. Change the tire to 1070 for the sportmods.

As long as the dimentions are the same who cares. These cars are made by skilled builders. I think you should look at some of the cars guys are making today. I would think they should not be allowed on the track because of safety issues. THE WELDS AND TUBING PLACEMENT ARE A JOKE! But guys are winning with them so they keep buying them.
