Ryan Preece was committed to the Riverhead Baldwin, Evans and Jarzombek event from earlier this year even though he loves racing at Oswego; he also noted that he needed a better engine for the race. I don't remember why Silk opted to race at the Riverhead event (close to home?, his car owner was close to Jarzombek which was true, but I don't know if that was the deciding factor).
