yes you can. all the information should be on the can including the ratio. zyliene is the mixing agent i think. can't recall for sure.

Some of the rustoleum enamels specify mineral spirits to thin.  Problem is, it takes quite a while to dry completely.

You can buy hardener for enamel from your local auto paint supply store. I used it a couple of years ago on my chassis. WARNING. It makes a HUGE mess. The overspray sticks to EVERYTHING....

its hard to beat equipment enamels price and shine. some of those tractor color are okay or you can mix them yourself to get the custom color you desire. its just hard to match the second time.

You're right John.. I used Ford/NewHolland Blue. Very bright blue color. Paid $20.00 a gallon at Surplus City. Added a little enamel hardener and thinner, and it did a great job. Other than the aformentioned mess, all was great.

Yes you can spray Rustoleum enamel - right on can directions - reduce 15% with acetone . Just sprayed a car with it , came out awesome.

I always use rustoleum.  Thinning it with acetone also helps it dry quicker.  The best part about using rusto is you can touch up the paint with a $5 rattle can and it will match exactly.

I am a big user/fan of Rustoleum as well... I use a medium enamel reducer with a super wet-look enamel hardener and it always look top-notch!  Using acetone takes a bit of shine out of the finish because it dries so much quicker...  I usually mix it 2:1 and 3 medium to thin coats (with a beer between coats for drying time) is more than sufficient...
