This Saturday October 14th at the Bull Ring, Wyoming County International Speedway. F/A Products presents the 51 Lap Sandy Vogler Memorial Race. The Finale, final points for NYSS and Northcoast 50 Lap series. Also we will be giving away 2 Champion Generators from SuperGen. 1 Generator will be raffled off to a NYSS driver and 1 Generator will be raffled off to a fan

Order of events:
-   4 Cylinder 8 Lap heats
-   6 Cylinder 8 Lap heats
-   NYSS 10 Lap heats
-   SST 10 Lap heats
-   Intermission/Re Draw at Starters Stand
-   Vintage Late Models 15 Lap Feature
-   4 Cylinder 40 Lap Feature
-   NYSS B Main
-   SST B Main
-   6 Cylinder 20 Lap Feature
-   NYSS Sandra Vogler Memorial 51 Lap Championship Event
-   SST Jim Pierce Memorial 100 Lap Feature Event

Attention NYSS Race Teams:
-   be prepared for pre tech (starts at 9:00 am & ends at 11:00 am)
-   Have your radio and ear buds
-   Looking at:
-   Spindles
-   Rear control arms or Leaf springs
-   Engine set back
-   Total and left side weights
-   Bring your 4 race tires and 2 spare tires for inspection

ONE WAY TRACK RADIO IS A MUST!  454.000 - They will be tested when you enter the heat races.  If you do not pass the test you will be removed from the track, fined $50, and go into the bmain, if in the b main you fail the radio test you be automatically disqualified with zero points & zero money. 

Line up: When the caution comes out, immediately go single file.  If you fail to do this you will get black flagged.  We will get with the scorers and revert to the last scored lap.  We will put you into position.

Pit stops: We will be pitted in the far back corner.  With this being said, pit stops will be behind turns 3 & 4 in a hot pit manor.  Teams will have to bring their equipment needed to change a tire or to make minor repairs.

Starting 26 cars: 

-   24 cars will qualify through the heats and bmain races
-   2 Provisionals will start the main
-   Provisional cars will start by the current 2017 NYSS non drop point standings
-   This means the 2 non qualified cars with the most points
-   Ties in points goes by the more races ran
-   Must attempt to race the heat
-   Must attempt to race the Bmain

New York Super Stocks – Chemung Update
09/02/17

After watching the weather forecast yesterday and today.  The forecast doesn’t look good for the race tomorrow.  Showing morning showers till noon, and chance of showers at 3pm again.  With pit gates opening at 11:00am, racing at 1:00pm, and a 6:00 pm Sunday curfew.  We have to cancel the NYSS 50 Lap Chemung race.  We feel that with an early morning travel for the teams and the track curfew, this was the best decision.  September is a busy month with kids getting back to school and some big race weekends.  Our next race is October 14th at the Bull Ring, Wyoming County International Speedway.  F/A Products  presents the 51 Lap Sandy Vogler Memorial Race.  The Finale, final points for NYSS and Northcoast 50 Lap series.  Also we will be giving away 2 Champion Generators from SuperGen.  1 Generator will be raffled off to a NYSS driver and 1 Generator will be raffled off to a fan.  Enjoy the Holiday weekend….

Next race on the schedule is the Fernwood Auto Parts 50 Lap race at the Speedrome.  This is race 4 of 5 in our 50 Lap Northcoast series.  Also it’s the 10th of 11 races for the NYSS Series.  In the NYSS Series we drop the lowest night (not dqs), In the Northcoast there is not a drop.  So with this being said the point race is getting tight.  You don’t want to miss this action packed race.  See everyone Sunday.

The Great New York State Race is less than 1 week away.  Cars are being worked on and tuned as we read this.  I have to thank Jody London for letting me and our series a part of his fathers race.  Both GTR Promotions and New York Super Stocks have grown so much from a few years ago.  Thanks to John White & Dave Johnston for all their help with getting the track and personal ready for this week.  Thanks to all the NYSS Team & officials.  Thanks to all the sponsors that have been working with GTR on a spectacular payout for the drivers.  The dead line for registration was last night at midnight.  We have 66 drivers registered for the DLMX.  We also have 20 cars registered for the Grandpa Dog Dash For Cash.  Thanks to Dave Heimes for working with GTR to put this 4 cylinder race together.  This night will be action packed.  We decided to go with the A B & C main format over 2 big consi races.  This is exciting for the fans to watch the cars advance.  The super stock heats will be 10 Laps each.  1st 2nd & 3rd from the heats will be locked into the A Main. 4th 5th & 6th will be locked into the B Main.  7th 8th 9th 10th will be in the C Main.  The Fernwood Auto Parts C main will be 20 Laps with the top 3 advancing into the B Main.  The Shirley Zacharias Shootout presented by Computers by JD  B Main will be 20 Laps.  4 Cars will advance to the A Main.  The winner of the B Main will get the choice of the $500 or advancing.  The $500 will fall back to the first car not advancing.  Then the Main Event.  The 10th Dave London Memorial Race, 50 Laps the distance.  Cautions do not count.  $2000.00 to the winner.  I’m telling you, sparks are gonna fly.  It’s gonna be a show down.  We have many defending DLM winners in the field.  We have Chris Finocchario on a hot streak.  We have the guy that almost won the race many times, but has Earnhardt Daytona luck Tim Gullo.  So many good cars in this series.  Definitely a race to see.  Grand stand adult pricing is $13.00.  See everyone Friday.

Feature Race Info:
- 21 cars qualify from heat finish
- 4 cars qualify from the B Main
- 2 cars strictly by points provisional, this will done after the B & C Main
(By current 2017 NYSS Series Point standings, substitute drivers points will count, drops will NOT be calculated into this)

Racers Notes:
-   Radio a must, 454.000
-   No radio, no following radio directions, will get you parked
-   Top 5 A Main cars to post tech, 6th & 7th on the bubble
-   Be ready!!, the night is going to move fast, it has to!!, if your not on the track the race will not hold for you
-   Not everyone will make the A Main, but every one will be in a feature race, do the best you can, we will not allow driving through cars, you’ll be parked, no money and no points
-   All cars that start the a b or c will get a minimum of 20 NYSS or North coast points

News 08/07/2017:

Last race we saw 30 cars sign in for the Lazzaro Performance Night.  Cars and teams were gearing up for the The 2017 “Dave London Memorial Race”.  The racing was action packed.  This week we expect more testing and tuning.  This will be the last race before the DLM and the last of the 25 lap races.  We will go into the last three races being 50 lap events starting woth the DLM.

News 7/10/2017:
     Coming off our travel race at AIS two weekends ago.  That was a crazy day.  The weather on the way there was insane.  The Thru way was blocked in areas, roads were flooded, traffic was bad.  But 22 of our teams made the trip.  Was a great race.  Thanks to all the teams, officials, and fans that made the trip.
     This week is the Computers by JD Night.  Josh and Donna are working on making this race special by adding some driver incentives.  Top three cars to victory lane for pictures and interviews.  I just talked to Josh and they just purchased a case of pink duct tape.  I’m not sure what they’re up to but I’m sure it will be interesting.  They have added an extra $200 to the win to make it $700.00.  <<<<See everyone Friday>>>>
