Title: Wikileaks: Mod 200 on classic weekend at Oswego.

Word on the streets is that The Oswego Speedway might be adding a mod 200 on labor day classic weekend. Yikes.....can you imagine the down hill race for that event? If it happens...ITS ON!!

Rumour Mill has Oswego sale in the works.

Apparently the prospective purchaser wants to take the track in a new direction.

Just wondering if these added races have anything to do with a "new promotor" in the wings.

The rumor I heard was that the new buyer was waiting for the current owners to pay the back property taxes before signing the deal.  It's supposed to get signed "the middle of this month".

The one common factor with these recent roc mod announcements is Harpell.  I heard he is involved in the new ownership group. 

Not sure if it is true but it is interesting that the only recent news out of there is mod related.

Heard the exact same thing today Rich, from a Supermod crew guy I know. Some sticky details with regard to taxes is the main hold up I'm told.

Tater, not telling you what to do but throwing out names before the ink is dry on these kinds of things really isn't helpful.

The old loose lips sink ships kind of thing. Just sayin'.
