Racing Discussion / Jennerstown LM 150L 10k to win
« on: February 05, 2019, 07:00:52 PM »
Ok late model teams this is a big one. Jennerstown announced today that the 150L late model race 8/10/19 will now be 10k to win plus several shots at bonus money. Last Lear was 6k and 18 cars showed up and put on a great show. Today they added money into the race and made this years race 10k to win. If you can dust off the car and toss a set of tires on for this show then it should be for sale.

I’m sure everyone was hoping for a few more lm and I’m gonna guess more will be there since a late registration doesn’t matter much. This will be the longest day at work waiting to get there for tomorrow. Great seasonby ted, Jeff, Jason and the rest of the staff.

Toss up. Port royal 4th of July ( best dirt track I’ve been to). Evergreen Ss feature 8/10. Great battle between pollack/Ahner and the others were Jennerstown 150L lm race, the Bubba raceway park Lucas Oil lm race and the whole World Series at New smyrna ( it’s a must for any race fan) 3 weeks of racing all over central Florida

No super stocks but 1000 to win 4 cyl
3000 to win imca/Florida type mods
6000 to win late models ( this one was originally open to all late models )like LMSC, PLM , SLM with rules for each type but they changed it to just crates with no open engines. That means they probably won’t get 30 cars but will still be a good show

I haven’t seen or heard of anyone other than locals going after the big paydays in the 3 races that day. I was hoping to see some familiar guys out there. Is anyone going?

With the positives from the roc show I think a pro lm or even SLM twin Bill with open tour mod race on a off week for the mod tours would be huge. Maybe a purse like the big one In sept will draw a real big crowd.

Racing Discussion / Track advertising
« on: July 02, 2018, 08:24:26 PM »
So for the first time this season I heard a radio ad for a track. That’s gotta be good for a few extra fans Especially this week. When a lot of people are on vacation.

You can camp out but your better off doing the evergreen camp out then go west to Jennerstown for the 150L LM race.

Racing Discussion / Tri track in 2019
« on: May 30, 2018, 07:42:46 PM »
I know the series mainly operates at a select few tracks so they get the conn/mass Teams.  I’m sure many pa/ny guys would like to see the series come farther south. I for one would like to see evergreen and Jennerstown on the schedule. Are there other tracks that would be a great fit?

I’m sure it will go much higher on Sunday. Get there early and get a seat. Bring some friends and show them what they are missing. Finally a nice day. Let hope the drivers all make it and put on a show.

I’m calling it now over 35 cars. 28 now and a few locals still not listed. Is there a minimum before the starting number goes up.  The consi could be interesting.

Praying for a dry warm day. This day could be bigger than any other day under the great team of people running the track now. This list shows that it is possible to get over 20 Lm in the northeast
