This is for Jerry Binner, found a couple of more pictures of the Binner-Peters special with the 2x on it at Syracuse:
I just wanted to say to the Welty's, that i really appreciate all of the photos that you have posted, along with the history and background storys that go with them. I remember watching Norm Welty at Chemung back in the late 50's-early 60's I think it was, when my dad would take me to the races as youngster. Later, when I was old enough to drive, I followed the pavement mostly, but would still take in some dirt action in Central NY and 5 mile point and I remember seeing you guys in action.
Kenny, Here's a couple of Dad. First in the BUG in 1963 at Chemung and the next one is in 1960 in one of the flat-head coupes. Note the fire protection in the coupe!
Labor Day heat race victory at Chemung. Both photo's by L.O. Duncan.
I know I've posted it before but here's the progression of the Jim Carrol owned Bolia coupe posted previously.
Darrell catches some big time air but comes down safely and goes to the lead! And they call Steve the Hurricane!!! J&H photo from the anadaguia program.
Darrell... thanks for the pics. I'll show them to my Dad on Monday. He'll get a kick out of it, and I know we don't have any pics of our own with the 2x look.
Sure wish you and Dale would consider coming to the Modified Reunion!
Dale, must have been one heckuva HEAT race - or was he going for a suntan in there? Wow!
Thanks for posting the pics! Here's a REAL obscure question - Didn't the Carrol/Bolia 331 get built in a couple of weeks after Graeme destroyed the previous 331 at Weedsport? Don't ask me why I remember reading this from an old Shangri-La Racing news, but... I do.

Maybe Dale knows but I am not aware of this story, but I almost destroyed it at Weedsport. Can't remember if it was the first year or second that I ran it but I ended up with the right front tire stuck into the flagger opening and shortened the right front frame rail by about 2 feet.
Test - What year, where, and driver?? - Should not be that hard for a few.
I see I gave away a couple of the answers after I posted it.
Mike, How are you doing, still in Florida. I wont tell the answer but this car was one of the Kniesel hi rail cars and later became a regular on the dirt circuit.
