If anyone is interested in making a last minute trip and needs tickets for the Eldora truck race and modified invitational next Wednesday, I have four available.  Seats are reserved in section SA (no alcohol), row 13, seats 9, 10, 11 & 12. Big Block/Small Block Shootout Rules for 11/7/09

This race is open competition, but not a “run-what-ya-brung” race.

- Conventional center-steer Northeastern-style dirt modifieds only, no special cars.
- Body must be DIRT legal, no sail panels.
- Right Rear tire maximum 92x13, any brand, any compound.
- Cast iron engine block only, must be V8.
- Maximum 4 bbl carburetor only, no multiple carbs, fuel injection, turbo or supercharger. 2 bbl allowed.
- 362 to 467 cubic inches (big blocks & big small blocks) on gasoline – 2500 tsp
- Up to and including 361 cubic inches, maximum 750cfm carb on gasoline – 2400 tsp
- Up to and including 361 cubic inches, maximum 750cfm carb on alcohol – 2500 tsp
   tsp = track scale pounds

Racing Discussion / Inside Groove Goes Online

WFLR's Inside Groove, hosted by yours truely, is now available online on Tuesday nights at 6.  Go to fingerlakesdailynews.com, click on 'Listen to WFLR live' next to the picture of the microphone, and the live stream will pop up on Windows Media Player.  This is really handy for those that are stuck at a computer or can't pick up the broadcast signal on 96.9 in Dundee during the show.  As of now, the shows aren't being archived, so you will have to tune in at 6pm each Tuesday if you want to catch the show.  If you would like to participate in the discussion, we will take calls during the show at 607-243-7158 or 800-776-9357 as long as a guest isn't on (only one phone line is set up for broadcast).  You can also email questions or comments to insidegroove@live.com.  I will check the email throughout the show.
