More than likely, my error, but I have not yet seen a congratulations to the late for Mike Stefanik's official induction into the NASCAR Hall of Fame (if it has been previously been mentioned, other than the earlier announced nomination, I missed it! (So, my apologies ahead of time!) In my mind, his on-track racing accomplishments in NE touring series are beyond comparison; his nine total championships (two in the Busch North Series) tie him with Richie Evans for the most in NASCAR history. In addition, won the 1997[8] and 1998[9] titles while simultaneously racing full-time and winning the championship those same years in the Busch North Series. Well-deserved honor, indeed! Championships in two completely series run concurrently; earning titles back-to-back (Again, if accolades were bestowed here before, my humblest apologies!)

As a former tech inspector on the modified tour I worked with Mike weekly. He was one of the nicest people in racing. Great to see him go into the hall

This might help: According to the NASCAR Hall of Fame, drivers who have competed for at least 10 years and have been retired for two years are eligible for nomination.

I believe that Stefanik belongs in the NASCAR HOF but for the most part the hall of fame is a joke, for example how can you induct a car owner before a driver the caliber of say a Ricky Rudd or Harry Gant, give me a break!!
