That was the original intent for "politicians", however it's gotten
way out of hand lately. There used to be a term called "public servant", for those of you who are old enough to remember...
I just sent out a letter to my state representatives, and in it I was
very clear in reminding them that the
people of New York State elected them,
not Barack Obama or Nancy Pelosi, therefore they had better get back to representing
US!!
