Former AG, on Loretta Lynch
« on: June 10, 2017, 01:21:01 PM »

Former Attorney General Michael Mukasey on Friday accused former President Barack Obama's attorney general, Loretta Lynch, of turning the Justice Department into "an arm of the [Hillary] Clinton campaign."

"What makes it egregious is the fact — and I think it's obvious that it is a fact — that the attorney general of the United States was adjusting the way the department talked about its business so as to coincide with the way the Clinton campaign talked about that business," Mukasey said on Newsmax TV.

"In other words, it made the Department of Justice essentially an arm of the Clinton campaign," said Mukasey, who served as the nation's top law enforcement official under former President George W. Bush.

But...but...but......Trump is "obstructing justice"!!

The eternal depths of "the swamp" is slowly coming into view.

In a sweeping testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday, fired FBI Director James Comey claimed that Lynch directed him to refer to the FBI's probe of Clinton's use of a private email server while secretary of State as a "matter," as opposed to an investigation.
"At one point, the attorney general had directed me not to call it an investigation, but instead to call it a matter, which confused me and concerned me," Comey told lawmakers.

He added that the directive was one of several that prompted him to make the unusual move of side-stepping the Justice Department in the July announcement that his bureau closed the Clinton investigation.

"I don’t know whether it was intentional or not, but it gave the impression that the attorney general was looking to align the way we talked about our work with the way a political campaign was describing the same activity, which was inaccurate," he said.

I'm of the opinion Trump was not attempting to obstruct justice...

Why does Trump get a free pass other than he's a Republican?...We all know if he were a Democrat how your posts would read.  I can only assume your Party loyalty is greater than your loyalty to our Country.

What exactly is Trump getting a pass from ? Comey must have answered 200 times in the last three days that Trump was not, is not under any investigation at any time, that crap comes from the fake news as a way to cloud up the hearings, Second your party loyalty vs loyalty to our country statement is a bogus piece of garbage, you had posted that you voted for yourself, how does that make you a person who is loyal to your country or at least a participant in the American process, YOU are neither, at least I voted for an American and you did not !!  After a while this same garbage from you over and over is getting old. Get a new topic, how about Hilliar being a criminal.

Are you even REMOTELY serious??

It Trump wanted to switch from Charmin, to Cottonelle, in the White House rest rooms, because he was able to negotiate a better deal, the HUNDREDS of objectionists would fight him tooth and nail.............JUST BECAUSE. And despite that, Trump has still managed to get some legislation, as well as a SCJ, passed and in place.

Consider this......Trump appears to be the first POTUS in history, to be criticized for actively trying to keep his campaign promises. Amazing, isn't it??  (actually, sickening, is a better word.....)

Way 2 lo... after researching your posts and reading all the garbage you spew here, I have determined you are simply a TROLL with zero real knowledge of politics and the political effects caused by the liberal media. You try hard to start controversy and get a reaction from the people here. You mind is blinded by CNN and MSNBC.  In short my friend, you are a bore with a lousy agenda. Keep one thing in mind as you slink away now, you LOST the election. Lost. Sorry.

Jack,

 I'll bite...

I'm curious to know how you grade Trump's performance since taking office, please be specific.  The good and the not so good.

I want the best leader for my country regardless of Party.  I love my Country Jack and I'm certain you do also yet, I suspect you tend to allow yourself to be overly swayed due to Party affiliation.
