Mike says he is not gonna re-up his lease, not because of the racers ,so don't read into that.The fair board is the problem and they made the deal look better than it really was.Alot of misleading.Plus Mike had the wrong people in critical spots that caused alot of problems.As far as the land deal there is no issues there the only part that is in question is in the pits, about six spots and thats all. Mike has made some bad decisions but he did  give it an effort, there are alot of people that would not even try.So lets not wish the track to be gone, you may get your wish.When you loose a track you may never get it back.GOOD LUCK.

What happened to the artical in drivers and fans website "where lauterborn is announcing his decision not to lease again", It was quite negative toward drivers and crewmen. Is this why it was pulled from the site. Too bad Mike just doesn't put all his real reasons on the genesee speedway site for all to read. It was a artical written by larry ott ,I think.

He gave it a go, first year was pretty good, downhill from there, the slide started with the '08 rev box fiasco and snowballed from there.

stubby please do not put any blame on the fair board seems like every little thing goes wrong it is the fair boards fault . As all the interested partys knew everything beforehand i think you touched on a few problems quickly in your post  I WILL NOT get into a pi$$ing match with no one on a forum board  Sometimes people have to take responsability for themselves

Yeah, I'd like to find that article so i could get some copies made, some dirt balls I know don't have internet access, but I'll bet they'd enjoy reading what Mike L. thinks of them !?!?!?
No Fights lately, but one sportman driver knocked down in the gravel face first by security, and a Good Ol' pepper spray in the face
last year.

It was in the buffalo paper on monday, i was told by a ransomville racer who took offense to it. He won't bother coming batavia now, to deal with the street stock DEMOs.

maybe if some of the drivers didnt drive with their heads in their *****, there wouldnt be half as much cautions. As for the article mike already put something on the website saying he didnt intend for the article to be that way.
