Woodhull Raceway Fans- We Need Your Help!
« on: January 30, 2010, 09:37:08 PM »
We're nearing the point of completeion with our two-seat Street Stock project that we are almost ready to send it off for lettering at Signs Plus of Kanona.  We have already decided to officially name it the "Woodhull Raceway Street Stock Experience presented by R/T Motorsports & Burgess Family Racing".  What we still need is a number for the car.  We're looking for something catchy yet meaningful.  We kicked around a few ideas in our shop, but we couldn't settle on anything.  So now we are asking for your input.  E-mail your suggestion to burgess52@verizon.net or post it here if you like.  Please include your reason for choosing that particular number to represent our project.  We'll mull all of the suggestions over and then make our final choice just before we load the car up for the trip to Signs Plus.  The author of the number that we choose will receive the very first ride in said two-seater- at top speed, screaming around the high banks.  If more than one person suggests the winning idea, we'll draw to see who gets to go first, but we will also make sure that all winners receive a ride before the end of the season.  Rack your brains, Woodhull fans.  This is going to be one wild ride!

Todd, What an awesome idea this car is, I know people who have sat in the stands for years wondering what its like to run  around the track in a car, Cant wait to see the smile this will put on some fans faces, please post any updated photos you have of the car. I'll suggest #46 for the number of seasons Woodhull Raceway has been open, and maybe #47 next year and so on.....

Did Woodhull first open in 1967?
How about the number 67?
or
Since you are beginning a wonderful thing in 2010,
how about the number 10?
The number 10 can also mean on a scale of 1 to 10, this idea is a 10.

Why does a ride along car have to have a number? It's not racing, right? To make sure I win I'll say any # between 00 and 2010. How about a number that is in the word woodhull like 00 or 11 then use your # in part of the advertisement
