The 4d won, 5t was 2nd.  They were side by side at the line.
They started an hour and a half late and the track was so rough that some of the drivers (Donk, Hebing, & Homan among them) refused to come back out after the heats.

The TVMRS is racing at Oxford Plains on Saturday.  Most of the teams on that tour only have one car and would not want to risk wrecking it a couple days before a points race.

Microsprints at the Monroe County Fair.

How come noone has mentioned this on here yet?  Usually there's people on here plugging this event weeks in advance.

What a great race.  Way better than I expected.  The tour definitely redeemed themselves after that ebarrassment of a show they put on last year.  Big congrats to Rudolph on his 1st tour win.  Great runs also by Chuck Hossfeld, Rowan Pennink, and Todd Szegedy who came up just a few feet short.  Hossfeld definitely made a statement.  I hope that team runs a few more tour races and takes one from them in THEIR back yard.  I was glad to see Rowan Pennink have a good finish.  He had a good run going last year when he was dumped by the 17 late in the race.  He's one of very few up and coming drivers on the tour that doesn't have that slam bang sk mentality.

Small crowd was most likely from a combination of raining out Saturday night, the high ticket price, and the lousy show the tour put on last year.  I timed my arrival just right as I got there as the mod heats were starting and didn't have to sit through the racecar hockey event.  That class couldn't suck more if it was sponsored by Hoover.

Oswego has NOT cancelled as of yet and from what I was told, they are intent on getting the race in today no matter how late they have to run.  I'll be headed there in an hour or 2.

I absolutely will NOT miss the old forum.  It was great in it's day, but that has long since passed.

What sucks is that I see someone on here has already taken someone else's s/n from the old board.
